On the basis of us only having 4 games left and the bloke is having an op, which "few games" would you like him back for ?
As for Chester, I think that our injury crisis goes way deeper than most of think, which probably seme way back to Easter, when we were already using busted players and the situation has just never eased.
Having said that, Chester must see that, for whatever reason, Brough / Miller in the halves just isn't working.
As for Fifita, he's been better on one leg than most of our other forwards and it's credit to him that he's played through the pain barrier to try and help our situation.
Green has some big boots to fill and the rest of the pack really do need to put their hands up to do some serious graft on Sunday (and beyond).

| Unfortunate that he appears to be done for 2019, but he's been struggling for many many weeks. He played against us at Warrington in June on one leg, and hasn't been the devastating player he can be for over a couple of months.

Fafita clearly been playing injured for the last 4 games I'm saying we send him for the op 2 month ago he maybe back for the last 2-3 games playing him injured has back fired. I am very worried Chester has lost the dressing room and sort of knew it 2 month back as the tactics since boxing day have been wrong.

I'm not arguing that it was a risk to keep playing with an injury but, none of us know just how bad the injury crisis has been or, more importantly, how long the rehab will be post operatively.
What we do know is that Chester and more importantly, Fifita, thought it was better to try and play on with the injury, than see the side struggle even more and apart from last week, against Hull, Fifita was still making a huge difference (top forward for Trinity) and none of us will ever know whether it was the right decision.
Instead of losing by 10/12 and 30 points, whether this would have been better or worse if he hadn't played, although, I'd be comfortable in saying that the margin of defeat would have been greater. If my auntie had balls and all that...…..
All we can do now is wish the guy a speedy recovery and support the side.
Chester will definitely be here for the foreseeable future so, we either walk away or stand up and support the Trin !
I know where I will be on Sunday

"Tactics since Boxing Day"? Are you for real, we were third in the league until we racked up 11 first teamers out injured.

If you're not Vastman you post uncannily like him, you have the same attitude when challenged, you mention spending time in Oz as a youth and Vastman doesn't post on here half as much since you turned up.

Do I, would Vastman apologise to anyone let alone NGBC? So because some people say I'm Vastman that means I can't react, bit odd that Jinjer. So I have some similarities? maybe I'll accept that, so nobody on here reacts in a similar way to you, are they all Jinjers

I don't think he's Vastman.
Fisherman if i may say so, usually writes sentences
grammatically correct and is more precise and cogent.
Just my opinion.

| Much as Vastman probably appreciates the attention, this thread isn't about him. Leave it alone please.

Yes I am for real Leeds gave us 7 drop outs boxing day and we couldn't score. Yes we score against Huddersfield but scoring all season been a problem have you seen how disjointed we are. Blame injuries all you like London shocking squad yet they look great coming forward, I'm sorry Chester hasn't rectified the problem

| Very much a shame about David, who is a fantastic player and a great asset to the club. As a long time fan, its always a shame to see those star power players injured and not having the season they deserve. Shame for him and us as fans he's been struggling most of the season. Time for us to get behind the team for the big game tomorrow, but do see it as tough game for us to get a result from.
Many injuries this year, clearly impacted us and indicative of how conditioning and injuries can have such a crucial impact on SL teams like us that run on lesser resources. Agree with some of the cautious optimism here that hopefully we will get over the line and stay up this season. Next year, onwards and upwards!

I agree, you could see in this game brough & miller wouldn't work as we had the lions share of possession and territory yet managed 4 points and ended up beaten. We ended up 3rd due to fifita winning us some games on his own.
