You should know, aren`t you his best mate?'"
Well how did he end up signing with them then?
Neither do we, isn't that exactly what this thread is about? Getting rid of 5-6 players so we can replace them with 4 more?

| Think Westerman still has plenty to offer on the pitch. Happy to see how he goes.

| With all said I'd be happy with Westerman, brings a lot of experience with him.

Yep, on less money than both us and Leeds were offering.

Yes, Hull offered him a 1 year deal on half the money he was on this season, then gave him a 14 days to sign the deal which was taken off the table before the 14 days as the other player they did the same to signed his deal straight away. So they kind of did, kind of didn`t.

You don`t think we have cap space? Lol. We might not have the funds but we definitely have the cap space. Ignoring your first point.

| If we are cutting senior squad by two then for me the 6 outgoing would be
Huby - probably retiring if not think he still has a year
Baldwinson - not really sure why we signed him
Hampshire - looks like he wants more than we will pay
Kirmond - just too injury prone
England - as above
Randal -
Annakin ?
Hooley - if we are signing walker and keeping Jowitt
Priorities
Signing arona big priority
If randals going signing a quota prop
Westerman signing must mean we are getting rid of at least one back row forward if not two
28 man squad is small - sure we can't have another season like this

I wouldn't lose Hooley. He's a developing project.
I'd keep Annakin as a squad player but depends on the young guys coining through.
The rest I agree assuming Hampshire makes the choice to leave. More than happy for him to stay.

I know we have the cap space but we don’t have the funds, essentially we are in the same position. Having to get rid of players to sign another.
Why are you ignoring it chap?

| Why have you left out Paul i ? He is ooc @ the end of the season, he has 12 games to use his ability & continue his career, if he does not, I cannot see him get another contract if he does not produce working hard each game ! I fear for him if he fails to get a contract, where will he go from that position ?

Have you watched Hooley?
I have and I can’t see any development to be honest. He looks ok at Championship level but nothing more. It’s only my opinion on but I see no obvious signs of a SL player. I may be wrong but at this moment no.

| Annakin is a tough one, he will be 29 come next season and will have averaged only around 7 games per season. Can’t fault him when on the field as he gives 110%, depends on the wage I guess.
Hooley is a must keep IMO, having watched the first game where he got MOM for Oldham I think he’s an outstanding talent and although an unpopular opinion, better than Jowitt.

Your opinion but I along with many know Max is head and shoulders above Luke at the moment, if Luke gets his chance and some game time at SL level as Lee and Jack has then we will have a better picture but at the moment Max every day of the week.
