Looks to run hard, shot out a few times against Catalans which left us a little short but luckily it was covered by others.'"
Thought he got dominated in the tackle on Saturday which to say the strength in drive is supposed to be his strong point isn`t good. He literally got drove back 10 metres on 2 or 3 occasions. He has been a good player no doubt but there is a reason he has not been able to get in the Salford side this season and it is clear to see he is slowing down.

Just had a look at the old stats #statman and Sau made 55 metres on Saturday, compared to Lyne's 129! Williame and Mead made 87 and 80 metres respectively.

| Get the excuses in early lads? With the exception of Mr Child pulling another crazy knock-on ignoring VR decision out of his jacksie, it will be down to the players, not the ref, to decide the outcome of the game, yes?

Roby should pick up a ban for the most blatant and probably most dangerous crusher tackle that I have seen, that could be a positive for us but I think the MRP will probably label it as sin bin sufficient.
Do we have any news on Fifita at all?'"
No ban for roby.

| Roby can count himself as very, very fortunate there.
As for the refs I doubt very much they will cost us this one. Travelling in hope rather than any expectation. It’ll need a monumental effort, several Saints not turning up and big load of luck somewhere along the line.

| Didn't Kirmond get two games for a crusher tackle earlier this year?

Yes but he plays for Wakefield. Same as forward passes only count when we do them

| If we play the first half against saints as Catalan it will be a cricket score, get up in their faces ,stop the offloads, and please run onto the ball .I know these are the basics of the game ,but time and time again we fail to do these and it costs us dearly .We will soon find out if wakey have the stomach and desire for this game ,i personally think we have and can match them in all departments ,we just need to get stuck in for the full eighty and set off like a house on fire .

| A few weeks ago I would have said 'bring Saints on!" Since then the team has changed, injuries, new players etc.
Not much chance I'm afraid, unless the team emerge with attitude, purpose and the HEART to win.

I think you are being rather disingenuous to wards Trinity.
The 2 London games aside, Trinity have played with the heart of a lion this season.
Crippled by the worst run of injuries in almost 50 years, they are still within touching distance of a play off spot and doing ok.
Saints are red hot at the moment and will very likely win. After all, they have only lost once all season and have a full squad and home advantage.
The bookies are giving us 14 points start, which may not be enough. However, if we can get something close to a 9/10 performance and have some luck with the bounce of the ball and not get screwed by the officials, maybe, just maybe, we can cause an upset.
One thing we need to do is get as many fans over to St Helens as possible and support the team.
The pressure is all on Saints.

There's that consistency Neil Hudgell is talking about. Then you have fools like Jon Wilkin accusing Trueman of faking it !
