Signing Sau until the end of the season would make sense but I personally wouldn’t if it meant Pauli going the other way...

We’re maybe looking ahead to that big quarter final and thinking will that left edge of MCB and Kershaw hold up? They’ve been excellent so far but it’s a big ask of Kershaw at this stage of his career...

An edge of Sau and MCB looks much stronger so I could see it...

Pauli has potential for me though and yes he’s had a few poor efforts of late but I think if you judge him on the season as a whole he’s done more good than bad...maybe the fact we’ve been unable to rotate the big lads through injuries has had an impact on him?

Pauli is a big lazy pudding and I've never rated him...

Trust were not playing each other in the upcoming month. Certainly Salford have got the better of the deal looking at it just on the player, hopefully Pauli comes back reinvigorated.

I could see Chris selling him as described like a car,
well it doesn't always start first time but when you get it running its got a good strong engine, it has is moments of stalling now and again but I'm sure it can be tweaked a bit, MOT he's had a prang and he's been fixed, bit a tape though is holding him together, consumption is heavy so might need to feed more than usual, normally carries for people

Add Crowther and King if we need them.
And they all play long minutes if not 80 mind which allows us to spell the front row more.

I like Paulii and love it when he's on song but we are where we are. We need a decent and Salford need some size in their pack so it works out for both parties now till Bill and Joe come back. I know we're desperate for backs and have decent cover in the forwards with players returning by the week with Ashurst and England just about ready to go fro what CC said. Anyway i hope Pauli takes this well and comes back to ready to play again.

This is definitely an in Chester we trust, he has always seemed to know what players he need, very few duffers in his time.

Pauli is great going forward but defence leaves a lot to be desired ,although sau can’t match Pauli for grunt up front he is a far better all round player when on song .
If this is only a short term swap deal let’s hope if/when Pauli comes back this is the kick up the backside he needs to step up..
