| Quote: Droopy "I think the issue we have is that Horo is taking up a quota spot that could, arguably, be used to much greater effect.
Hypothetically, i would rather let Horo go, bring in Hadley who is a very similar player and free up a quota spot...given the figures stack up of course.'"
Didn't Andrew say he wanted to play at the same club as David...

| Quote: Dave K. "When fit, Hadley has played, had a few injuries though, but can't remember many if any games he has been not picked in the 17.
I'd keep him at Hull for the right price whilst at Hull I've never seen him after other than solid so if can get a better deal then good luck to him.
I can't believe he wouldn't choose Wakey over Rovers when you look at the two clubs, unless he doesn't want to travel.'"
Was just going on some posts I'd read and the sending out on loan due to salary cap issues. He was a really good fit for us in 2017 and pretty certain he would be again. HKR can possibly offer him a bit more than we can money wise to be honest.

Nick Scruton also chose the money (don't blame him fwiw), and look how that turned out.

Wouldn't blame any RL player for choosing the money to be honest.

| I think letting Horo go for Hadley is a tougher question than just letting Horo go.
Hard to say how much extra we'd be getting tbh.
On the other hand, he was good for us 2 seasons ago, and although he hasn't ripped up any trees at Hull he has been playing in a less than optimal squad.
Still, Wakey staff know what they're doing, they'll know exactly what he is and what he will bring.
I'm trying to think who else could come back, what with Broughy and MCB returning this season...

| Been excellent this season and covered a few positions and I'd be happy to see him playing for Trin next season but, Chester & Co have put together a fine squad and it's fair to say that they know how they want Trinity to play and what kind of player they need.
It will all depend on who is available and what we can afford.
Keeping the core of the squad together and improving overall for next season will be a tough ask, unless we can make it to a final (or two) and / or get more punters through the turnstiles.

| I have heard a few rumblings over here in oz about wakey going for some forwards from the unhappy broncos next year.
Alex Glen and Pangai Jnr.
in 2-3 years time David and Andrew will play one year of super league at the same club and if david is to see out his wakey contract it will be at Wakefield - Andrew has already shown its not all about money for him by playing for tonga instead of Australia,it was a family members wish that they play one more season together

Nice thought but can’t see it coming off. AF is in an other level to his brother.

Maybe not in two years time. The NRL takes its toll and Andrew has seen a lot more action than Dave. Should equal things out a bit.
Don’t think Andrew is as creative.
