A rock solid argument must have being put to MC for him not to buy it

Carter has pubilcally stated Walker told him not to buy the ground
I'm just so glad we own our ground again
And have plans to develope it

I'm saying there is more to it otherwise it as I find it hard to believe it's as simply as SRW just saying "trust me, don't bid"....... But if he did, the person who did just trust a blind promise made a big mistake and shares responsibility. |

True but trusting the chairman of the Trust and a Knight of the Realm if you buy into that stuff is hardly a blind promise is it? In business as in life you have to trust people on occasions, if we didn’t nothing would ever happen and at this point Rodders still had some credibility So no they don’t share the responsibility, someone has clearly been dishonest, the fact someone else has believed them doesn’t excuse it. |

Personally, i would think it would be difficult, logistically, for any work to be done on the stadium while the season is ongoing, and were playing there.
Also, are there any funds in place as yet, to even start any work?
