It does just go to show when people talk about Wakey fans on these boards and their comments, try give praise to the team and still getit thrown back at you like you have come on slating the side. Seems fans of other teams cant win at all with you lot at times jeez'"
Sorry Mr Pimp, I wasnt meaning to have a go at you so, apologies if my reply was a little strong.
In a way you are right and at some point the mindset of the club and players needs to be that of a side that really wants to challenge at the top of the league (they may already have the belief, time will tell).
Personally, much as I want Trinity to win the league and rule the world, I'm not sure that we actually can until we are able to spend the cap and truly compete with the "big 4", in a way, it shouldn't be possible, although Leicester City had their year, when spending a fraction of the big sides in the Premier League.
Sustained competition at the top of the pile will require sustained spend on the squad.
Again, sorry if you felt I was having a pop at you.

No worries at all. I totally agree that the off field and playing side has done remarkably well. I genuinely think you can push for the 5 next year and will watch with interest. Your pack is one to be envied throughout the league for a start. Hopefully Broughy can provide that last bit of spark to get you into the 5

Also with Chester being able to attract the right level of player whilst staying in budget and then improving the player also has laid the foundations for you going forward. Maybe as you say with Cas and Powell there is something with the coach feeling at home at his home town club which challenges them to make them the best they can be.
It is pretty obvious that slight bit more cap available would allow you to possibly push that little further, but without getting into the politics of it all if a new stadium was able to be built, given the product on the pitch being as good as it is would a new stadium attract enough fans back to allow you to spend the full cap?'"
Without a doubt, a brand new modern stadium would do absolute wonders for the Club in a number of ways, from attracting new fans both home and away, sponsorship and more money from hospitality, as well as giving Trinty a base to train from. if it was ever to happen, under the leadership of MC and Co we would thrive imo, similar to how Warrington have when they moved. But unfortunately, the Community Stadium looks less likely now than it did 8 years ago when it got full planning and was passed by the Secretary of State. it's all turned into a bit of a bad joke tbh.

Definitely seems that way and a massive shame for you guys. Just seems a whole political mess. Hope something does come to fruition as it sounds whats needed to really push you on
