It's crazy how the club got into that state, AG & JE over paying contracts for certain players in 2012 before the head coach was in place?
Wasn't the quote at the time something like, if we have £1 we will only spend 90p? |

I don't think he knew what he was getting into, to be honest - similar appears to have happened with Koukash at Salford.
At that first meeting, someone asked if he had the funds to run a Superleague club and he brushed it off as "easy, no problem." |

Not sure but wasn't Elston's wife one of the highest earners at the club at the time. |

Reading this thread makes me think of those characters with 'champagne taste lemonade money'.
Usually then the hard working and honest suffer as a consequence of their greed.
