And what will you do with Arona ?
Both him and Ashurst are tackling machines

| I was very suprised to see Woody last week so maybe he gets rested. Would be tough on Hampshire to miss out and I'm sure he's doubly motivated to stick it to Wigan whenever he can.
Horo I think to miss out as Kirmo deserves his place and I'd stick with 3 props and HB/Hooker on the bench.

True so maybe Arona deserves a rest at some point? The likelihood is Arona will start but hightlighting the possibility that neither Wood, Randell or Hampshire will misss out.

| Are we forgetting that Randell only started running a few weeks ago. He’s not going to hit the straps instantly and having him and wood as the two 9’s is a risky step imo. It’s either Wood/Hampshire or Tyler/Hampshire for me.

2. Johnstone
3. Tupou

| Last thing we want is Wood and Randell breaking down early doors. Hampshire + 1 sounds good.

Sound about right to me but what do I know. I'd probably rest Woody as Randall needs a run at some point and as this is a game we we would love to win but don't have too if you know what I mean then it's ideal.
Hampshire may well want to stick it to Wigan or Wane in particular but as with Horo that can sometimes backfire especially as Hampshire has not yet nailed his position within the team.

| It is a hard 17 to call. I hear what people are saying but if everyone's fit you play both your hookers and only the Coaches will know that. I've got a feeling we're going to go with Tyler and Wood for some reason. Mainly just because CC said he's gonna give Hampshire a crack in the halves in one or two of the games after Wigan. Obviously if Wood isn't 100% no point risking in him and Hampshire comes back on the bench, but I haven't heard anything to say otherwise. Looking forward to seeing Tyler, those games he played for us last year, he seemed one of the fastest hookers I've seen with a mean defense.
Then if I go with that theory-
1. Grix
2. Johnstone
3. Tupou
4. Lynn
5. BJB
6. Miller
7. Finn
8. Fifita
9. Wood
10. England
11. Ashurst
12. Kirmond
13. Arona
14. Pauli Pauli
15. Huby
16. Horo
17. Randall

That would be the one thing with Rocky, just generally trying too hard and to show Wigan what they're missing. Hopefully, the lads got enough about him if called upon not to lose his head but it's very easy for me to say that say here.

| Has Paulie Paulie done enough to get a place in the 17 ?
I think he is getting better each week but not yet the wrecking ball I think he could become. That said he takes four defenders to stop him near the line so that gives us opportunities when he gets a quick play.

| Personally, I think more game time the better he'll be.I can see improvements particularly in that last game to his first which isn't a surprise really considering what he's come back from.
Saying that it's a long season and if CC wanted to go with longer minutes and work rate and fewer meters gained per carry, you could bring in say Baldwinson.

More than enough.
Also the mans a penalty machine but in a good way. He's won us a fair few penalties because opposition players seem to feel obliged to hold onto this man mountain far longer than even your average SL ref will tolerate. He and Fifita really do drag the defence in and every game both PP and Fifita are getting quicker to their feet, In the meantime England, Huby or Hirst do the straight up and at them stuff.
Enjoy

| Providing everyone is 100% fit, it'd be harsh on Hampshire but I go with both Wood and Randell. For such an important role, having two specialist hookers should give us a bit more sharpness around play the ball.
I'd also be tempted to go with three props on the bemch again. Wigan are always an aggressive side, but we can more than match them up front. That'd leave Kirmond or Horo to sit this one out.
