If someone asks a question, please let it be answered by someone who knows rather than what you might think you know.

One question i think worth clarifying.

I'm assuming the details about the trust and what was agreed applied to Newmarket.
Does the same apply to the proposed redeveloped Belle Vue?

That I think is where the questions over rent and income are getting confused.

As far as we understand - bearing in mind that the deal offered 6 weeks ago was never put in writing - no - and that is a fundamental issue for us!

We will in due course but we do not want to predjudice our position legally.

I may have said more than I should have but I got totally peed off with hearing that the Club want a stadium totally free of charge at the ratepayers expense and then be able to generate all the income from it. Running the stadium will cost a substantial sum.

It should because funding is still supposed to be coming from the uplift in value at Newmarket.

Would really like to know what David Hinchliffe thinks about this and not being considered fit for purpose. Bet Peter Box wouldn’t have had the audacity to say that when he was a serving MP.

So Manni Hussain is posting cryptic messages on twitter.

Whilst he's right I do wonder who he's calling out. It could easily be Box and Co but as a developer he will obviously have to keep them onside.

Also I see Carter has quoted Hussain on his twitter too. Whether it's a little dig or just what he genuinely believes I don't know.

I see only one loser and that is Wakefield Trinity. Twitter is going a little Donald Trump, and based on what I have read 88m are correct we have not signed a contract for next season but continue to sell season tickets.
I know the club will refund any money paid but not the best plan for budgeting.
I hope it sorts itself out but currently I fear the sides are entrenched and the only side with little room to manoeuvre is the club.

Trinity hold the majority of the cards here, we all need each other but without us it's a no goer, it's becoming pretty obvious now, it's Hussain who needs to hold his nerve, if we don't get what we want we can play else where, like most trin fans I just want to watch my home town club play, I don't need a shiny stadium for that

Everyone not related to the club just wants to make money out of this and without us you're all screwed

Hussains pathetic comments about the club selling tickets with no where to potentially play are pathetic and shows he knows NOTHING of the fans of wakefield trinity and our struggles

As the document that was passed by the government on new market been circulated to the press . Think it would show people what Mr Carter is fighting for ,and show jo public that he does not wants to pay nothing as it looks like by the council statement. Think it would show how corrupt business people are.If jo public pulled tried to pull the same stunt on the government they would end up in jail

You believe Manni would be crying into his balance sheet if he could no longer charge rent for a ground and instead had to build residential and commercial units on Belle Vue, bringing in much higher sale and leasehold incomes? That those in charge of the council would care if we took our ball elsewhere? Really?
