Shame the same governing body used to turn a blind eye to it. If they had dealt with the issue before rather than excuse it maybe these kids wouldn't be on the stuff now.

Don't even think you should be banned for it personally. Anyone over the age of 22 has seen a certain Cas full back in a much worse state. It's a problem endemic in society not just rugby players. Unless you sniffed a line an hour before taking the field it is anything but performancing enhancing.

Does anyone know how long Coke stays in the system? It makes no difference whatsoever but could it be that he took it weeks since or does it suggest he's taken it within days of the game?

Depends whether urine,blood or hair samples are used. Can be as long as up to 3 months apparently for hair samples but these are not as reliable as urine or blood tests.

This stuff is everywhere these days, go out on a weekend and you will prob see it.

Hair retains it, and can be an indicator of when it was taken.

Still, the guy has only been with us for a couple of months, but %h1T sticks, its the same crap for Widnes I suppose, at least nobody is surprised, Chase is a train wreck, and to a certain extent Widnes are distanced somewhat from a cultural association with all.

If it ain't performance enhancing then I don't think there should be an automatic ban. It should be on the employer should they want to discipline their staff for misconduct. But then I'd legalise drugs anyway and tax the out of it.

People will take it anyway and there will be a damn sight more than Rangi Chase and Adam Walker in RL who will have it in their systems.
