Anyway, on the subject...I really like Gibson and am a bit sad to see him go. I suppose we have suddenly found ourselves very strong in 3/4s. With our limited budget perhaps this makes sense and I suspect there's some squad restructure going on here, so I await developments. Good luck Ashley. Good player

I do wonder, for all the talk of Max being able to change positions, whether Gibson could have made a stand off.
His skill would have been useful at 6 and his size wouldn't have been as exposed as it occasionally was at centre.

Yes, we have plenty of cover in the three quarters, and like others said he seemed a bit lightweight.
Hope he goes well, as he never let us down.
Could we looking though, to add a bit extra quality in the backs, but having to let one go in the process. If so, then probably think it is the right call.
Iut of curiosity, what standard are our young guns who play in the centre. I dont get the opportunity to watch U19s

Thanks. I don't think the game as a whole is in a brilliant place right now so I agree with you entirely. Back to Gibson, he sounds like a decent solid SL player who should go well in the Championship for us. |

You have a good player there is no doubt.
He's unlucky with injuries is his only downfall.
He's good mates with Moore too so I assumed that helped the deal. |
