I know technically its against the rules but can we make an exception and have a right real go at this end of a bell? Just for a short while, maybe like an hours flash sale whether anything (within reason) goes?? Pretty please?

I'm afraid it would be futile. The 'bell' has gone

So would I.
Try this - we finish this season in a strong league position and a decent cup run, with a really good squad containing lots of academy products; we go play at Dewsbury for one season with solid plans of a new stadium, and pack the place to the rafters every week - creating some local buzz and a really good springboard to Newmarket?
Sometimes you just have to be positive - in the same way I now believe that Labour could actually win this thing, I also believe the above could happen.

It's simpler than that: you're wrong. You don't know enough about the situation to comment in the way that you did, so don't.
I cannot remember a time when the club was as well run as now, felt as secure as it does now. There is only issue that is holding us back, and that's staying at Belle Vue in its current state.

| Can't believe anyone has the temerity to have a pop at Michael carter. Have been watching trin for over 40 years apart from the brief highlights - Wembley , Yorkshire cup final , promotion it's been 40 years of slow decline. A series of chairman have come and gone leaving a rented semi derelict stadium and s bankrupt club. Despite attendances lack of crowds we finally have managed to move away from being a selling club to signing some of our best talent. Thanks to his and a whole raft of other people. We have a possibility of a new ground being built in next couple years - who is the moron that started this thread -l?

| Couldn't agree more.
Everybody is entitled to an opinion and its not like we all have to bow and gtovel at Carter's feet but he came on just trying to wind people up which isn't on.
No need for it and the fact he isn't even a Wakefield supporter and hasn't got any skin in the game......makes it no great loss that we won't be hearing from him again.

| There are things you could criticise MC for, nobodies perfect. But on current evidence which is all any of us have it would have to be pretty pedantry in nature.
On field no issues, off field I really don't know as I have no access to accounts or management meetings - I assume however that if we can sign players like Fifita and Batchelor (for example) all must be well.
The stadium - MC is like the rest of us a bit of a hostage to circumstances on that one.

| Everyone has a right to view, but no reason to have a go at MC at all.
The progress the club have made over the past couple of years has bedn outstanding.
Would like to see more through the turnstiles. Hopefully a new stadium, continuing the good results and maybe a couple of offers with memberships could help that.
Higher attendances would help us in gettinh nearer to full cap spend

| I go to the rugby primarily to be entertained during my free time and pay for the priveledge. As a paying customer I want to feel like I am enjoying the product that is served to me and this year I am absolutely getting full value for money, other than Cas we are just about the most entertaining side in the competition generally speaking and I love it.
Fair enough there are other considerations (long term future, ground, home grown players etc.) but these are all secondary for me and can be forfotton about to an extent as long as I am being entertained.
Really enjoyed watching this team, loads of flair, skill and play the game in a really exciting way most of the time - long may it continue.

Your first two points sum it up for me. To be at that position despite the dump we play out of and all the financial constraints and pressure it puts upon us bodes well.
If we had a stadium in which we could attract support and develop more income then where would we be ?
Further to that this whole stadium issue is a massive drain on the clubs time and resource and that alone is a massive disadvantage that no other super league club has to endure.
well done to everyone to get us to where we are I say.
