| Perhaps he may consider coming to Leigh? Apparently he likes the 'stage' here, to showcase his talents!

| Today's League Express confirms Hull's interest along with Catalans, but didn't he say the other week that he was really enjoying his time here and wanted to stay ??

| If the club wants to move forward then we need to start hanging on to our best performers.

Problems arise when the full team are playing well week in week out. I could list a dozen players who I would hate us to lose. MC, JK and CC have to prioritise and simultaneously balance the books and the squad.

Totally agree Wollo, I'm sick of repeating myself but the problem with Wakefield playing well is that all the players are in the shop window, it makes my blood boil when I hear rumours that players are going to whoever, players nobody else wanted who , with Wakefield's management, have shone with us. I hope we can retain all but money talks.

If I was short sighted I could become a referee!: |

| It's going to be very difficult to predict what our budget is for next year. If as most people think we are going to be based in Dewsbury it is any bodies guess as to what the crowds will be like. What about sponsorship, advertising and corporate money? I can only imagine we will have to let BJB Williams, and Fifita go and hope MCB Miller and Huby stay fit.

You make an extremely valid point there. Presumably Chris Chester, and (especially) John Kear, have seen something they can develop in players that 'nobody else wanted' and have successfully improved those players and made them feel valued. There's absolutely no guarantee that those players would succeed, or be as happy, at Hull, or Catalans, for example. John Kear has a long track record of getting the best out of his players.

| It's v normal to hear of other clubs being interested in players
More so when it comes down to the final bit of negotiation on securing a player
The sceptic in me says that the players agent has a large hand in getting that out to the media to help get his player the best deal
BJB has being playing the best rugby of his career I really hope we can secure him on a long contract so he can continue that form

| The problem now is that the so called bigger clubs are not having it all their way in the SL. They have managed to get the so called salary cap increased (making it more or less redundant) and 2 players now, that will be exempt from the cap. There will be five or six clubs that will use the other SL clubs as feeder clubs and if one of the smaller clubs start doing well, they will change the rules again. I know players have got to make a living, but we will find out which of the players want to stay at Wakefield. (The danger is their agents.)

| My fear is players will be unsettled by agents putting statements out that will encourage a price battle for said player.
