Doh, yeah that's the one, I thought it was '73 as the tours I thought were every four years, I went four back from the '78 tour.

| My dad took me during the 1979 cup run, think it was against Barrow, anyway we won! But didn't start going regularly until the Wally Lewis season, where I didn't miss a home game until my mate cried off one Sunday. So I sat at home & listened on Radio Leeds to King Wally taking St Helens apart. I never forgave my mate!

We popped our Trinity cherries together Vasty.
A 25 - 20 win for Trinity against the mighty Wigan, in front of over 8000 fans (the place was full though).
I was hooked instantly
One of the attractions in supporting a club like ours is, the team winning when everything is stacked against us and this hasn't changed in the last 30 years.
I still hope and pray for a Wembley trip to watch Trinity and just for a moment, at Leigh last season, it looked like it might actually happen.

| Apparently my dad took me to my first game when I was 4 weeks old (early '84), stuck me in the Silver Cross and wandered down to Belle Vue from Newton Hill stopping for a pint in every pub along the way! No idea who we played, but it's been a life passion ever since

| My gran took me in the late sixties sadly I can't remember the away side but she never missed a game at home and most away, but HKR in the early seventies was the first on my own, a bit of bother in the South stand that day too.

| Leigh at home early 70's is the first I recall, a home game a packed crowd with an easy Trinity win by 30 something. I was only 7 0r 8 and dad took me along. I remember Topliss having a cracking game and the big crowd was something to behold. After that I went periodically but remember a cup run of home matches very well and we went to every round, Saints, Hull KR and somebody else could've been Salford? not sure then we lost in the semi. Great memories of growing up in Wakefield.
