| Mmmm.
So, for me Warrington gave it away, missing tackles not to mention the 2 missed kicks.
Pleased for Hull FC mind, good for them to get the hoodoo of Wembley off thier backs.
It was only a classic in the last 20 mins for me, it was pretty poor before then.
Good vocal support from both sets of supporters.
Hull FC to win the GF too? Maybe.

| If it was chucking it down, it wouldn't have been hailed as a Classic. I'm gonna be honest, I was bored right the way through it. Nice to see a third consecutive Yorkshire win at Wembley though.

| It was a game dominated by defence so wouldn't be a classic for the purists where the ball is really thrown around as it was in the classic 1985 final.
IMHO it was entertaining and a decent advert for the game though with some brutal tackles and I was glad Hull FC won and broke their hoodoo. Tony Smith was very gratitous in defeat and gave a great aftermatch interview.
Well done to Hull hope they get the GF aswell.

Totally agree, the first half was a borefest with both sides effectively cancelling themselves out, wire had so much possession and territorial advantage they should have put the game to bed, in the last 20-30 mins with both teams tiring it was Hull that made the best of it and made for a great last 10-15 mins, but not a classic, definitely a very hard fought game between two very evenly matched teams and barring injuries I would expect that this will be the forerunner for the grand final

Quote: Khlav Kalash "But this forum is surely the place for debate'"
Quite right it is the place for debate, but strangely you prefer to ignore the above post but yet feel the need to insult somebody who criticised him, for saying the exact thing you are implying yourself.
Quote: Khlav Kalash "Don't think you're better yet you were the one that had the pop about hangers on and whingers. And then had to mention how far you travel and how you'd never slag anyone off. Yeah alright you can have fan of the year, well done! But this forum is surely the place for debate, not blinded club back slapping. If something is wrong get it out there thats what its here for, it doesn't make someone a whinger. Others will see it differently, especially if it involves something as emotive as moving out of the city. It doesn't mean they are any more less of a fan. Its well known i think it would be a massive mistake without a guarantee of a return. But its my personal opinion, yours is different. Such is life.'"
I must be in a minority then because I did not know that you thought it would be a massive mistake leaving the city without guarantee's, and fwiw and also in trying to make his point cheshire cat said he would follow them wherever they played, and as you say it is only your personal opinion but apparently he's not allowed to voice his.

| I thoroughly enjoyed the game. Both live and then on play back.
It had skills but a lot of mistakes too.
Hull looked like they didn't have a 6th tackle play for a long time but wore them down and eventually got it together.
Plenty of exciting moments even if no length of field flowing moves.
Best game at Wembley for quite a few years. And I've seen 40 finals live (including the replay)

| I would think that both sets of supporters thought that their team played to the full potential, as neither team left anything in the changing rooms. It looked like a battle ground at the end of the match, A great cup final.

| Anyone know the official attendance? A very good and exciting game to watch, but not a classic. I agree that TS was very gracious in defeat.
I was impressed with Ben Westwood's appearance in the little filmed snippet prior to kick off. Didn't know he was a Bradford lad though. I thought he came from Sharlston/Normanton area

| We had a good weekend. A1 unbelievably quiet both ways.
It's noticeable how much the neutral shirts are dwindling around Wembley each year. Last time I remember a good neutral contingent was probably the 2012 Leeds v Warrington. I dread to think what the attendance would've been if we'd got there.
How did Warrington throw it away like that? How did Houghton not get The Lance Todd? Why are the majority of idiot drivers on the motorways generally in BMW's (with white being the colour of choice of the real numpties)?

| Cracking game and the right result - chuffed for Hull FC due to a family connection, and nice to see a game played in the right spirit, with a losing head coach showing some class and dignity.
Interesting comments about drivers though - in 24 hours, this forum has demonised cyclists, and the drivers of two marques of car, both of which I happen to be - I didn't realise I could be so unpopular based on my chosen mode of transport.
