| What happened to home fans only in the North Stand? Last night it was full of Leeds fans, I mentioned this to a stewerd who just shrugged his shoulders.
There were things thrown last night with one girl getting what looked like a really bad cut above her eye. I don't know wHo threw the item but if there were only 1 set of fans in there as there should have been then it would not have happened.
There is a policy in place so the club should follow it through because if they don't then worse things could happen which could have serious reprocussions.
It is not even difficult to police either, all it requires is a couple of stewerds positioned at both ends of the North Stand directing away supporters to the western terrace. I know that this was done a few times in the past such as against leeds in 2013 when there was 10k at the game.

There is a picture on RL banter page and Facebook of a girl with a nasty head wound and they are asking for information. Could mean trouble for the club.

| Not a good thing to see and hope the young girl is ok. Said earlier in the thread the home fans only in the North Stand needs enforcing. You can't get in the South Stand at Leeds without the correct ticket.

| Of the 72 floodlight bulbs I counted 26 as blown. My maths tells me that the pitch was less than 2/3 lit. Add to that the leaking roof, clock and the puddles to name but a few...well, maybe someone isn't putting much money , if indeed any, into the infrastructure. I know we maybe departing or refurbishing, but that has been the case for many a year and is not an excuse to allow the old lady to fall around our very feet whilst still watching, sitting or standing. Whilst I'm at it, I'll mention that surely in the modern age payment for entry should be accessible through card payment - quite a few disgruntled Leeds fans at ticket office who did not have the 'cash only'.
Did anybody else spot the Chairman's missus walking down the East Stand with a sweeping brush - I tell thee, ya couldn't mek it up !
I must add that it would be wonderful to see Belle Vue brought back to its former glory. When you look past the problems you see such a vibrant stadium full of individuality. Every side has its own characteristics ( yeh I know those flats are a carbuncle ) and the backdrop with all the milling people in glorious sunshine, or evening dusk, oozes colour. Add to that the closeness of the crowd and Belle Vue restored as a crown jewel would be the envy of all the drab and shallow modern stadia that other RL clubs have chosen to adopt.
Maybe we should apply to Channel 4 and get that Restoration Man in to perk the place up but keep its 'listed ' qualities. Leeds restored its Victorian Quarter – well how about our Victorian Quarter aka Belle Vue. Actually, does anybody know if any of the stadium is in fact 'listed' ? #justaskin

| Mentioned this a while back. Is there any scope to get involved in the City Fields project? Box is in the Express reflecting in the glory of other people's hard work commenting that the relief road is due to be completed next year. It opens up so much development potential and is just a stones throw away from BV.

I don't know and I'm not quite sure what your point is. You've obviously somehow managed to get in, be it because there was no-one on the door or because whoever was on the door didn't know that it was members only.
Being that you (even though you didn't know it) shouldn't have been there in the first instance, then you've done well for the last few months or whatever and should leave well alone. It's the club's fault that you got in, not yours.

Perhaps not the best comment.

True but a tad annoying as much prefer that bar to Cats. Will now be spending my money elsewhere again.
Lost revenue for the club but hey ho.

| The situation in the North Stand is becoming an utter joke.
Home fans only, my ar$e.
Although you can change ends at Headingley, they certainly don't give free reign to stand where you want but, "good old Wakefield" only enforce their rules to the detriment of the home fans.
Having said that, if we had won the game 32 6, nobody would be quite as bothered.

True - I get what you're saying. But look on it this way: if everyone could get into the block of flats then it would get packed just like Cats, so it would be just as bad.

| Although the weather was shocking on Friday and it coincided with the visit of Leeds and showed up the inadequacy of BV, the sale of the ground is still up in the air, so would it be shrewd to spend money on renovation when you may not be there for much longer?
Freak weather and a poor performance always brings out the negative element.
As a previous poster pointed out, if we had won, we would have been 'Singing in the rain'.
