| Well I think most people will be happy with the draw, quite a few years since we played Huddersfield in the cup so I guess we were due to play them sometime. We have a decent chance of making the semi final and I'm sure we'll take quite a following. Hopefully we'll be able to field our best 17 or near to it by then, it should be some game, looking forward to it.

True but it gives 1 team half a chance to get to the final - which would suit me (as long as it's us obviously!)

| Best draw for both clubs gives both sets of fans hope that they will win.
Should be a good game on the day too can't see why anyone would complain or not go !!

The last time I took my car there I had £800 quids worth of damage done to the paintwork of my car because of some pr@t with a key, when I went the following season to prevent it happening again I walked it from Bellevue to their ground, and if you don't believe me ask snowie because he walked with me bless him.
I'm now getting too old nowadays to walk it so like Wollo I no longer go there.

| I’m clearly in a minority here but I think this is the worst possible draw. If we win this one then as far as I’m concerned our name is on the cup!
For starters it won’t be a big pay day, win or lose.
Next, we are better when underdogs and we may enter this game as slight favourites!
However the biggest problem is that our players never seem to get how important beating us is engrained into the Huddersfield mentality.
It’s a strange one as we are not a derby match. We have Cas and to a lesser extent Leeds or Featherstone for that. For complex reasons stretching back twenty years we have become a benchmark for Hudds but not in a good way. They measure their strength by how easily they crush us, their fans will deny it but it’s true.
In my opinion they are still a good team and will be so up for this game it will be unreal and I don’t think we will be able to cope and to be fair not many teams could.
For once I’m not attempting my own slightly lame version of reverse psychology it’s just years of bitter experience with this particular club and I do fear “normal service will be seemed”.I hope I’m wrong but I just don’t think we’ve travelled that far just yet. My only hope is that none of our current players are part of the teams that used to capitulate and may approach the game all guns blazing.

Not sure it's the worst draw, but to contradict myself entirely I can only see us getting dicked. The beatings they've dished out over the years live long in the memory. The worst one when they hadn't won a game, Jon Sharp coach?

| I would have preferred Widnes - they only scraped a win against Fax and by many accounts, were not the best team on the day.
Shudds are finding their form again, and since they've had a jinx over us for years, I can't be optimistic about this one.

| Before the draw I wanted either Widnes, Shudds or Cas. Any of the other 4 sides would've been a tougher ask. Catalan away would've been the best money spinner I think.
The thing with Shudds is the lack of income due to a probable poor crowd.

| This game is still 6 weeks away and there is plenty of rugby to happen before then.
If we maintain our good form and Huddersfield continue to stutter then, this game is definitely winnable.
All of the comments about them being our bogey team are of course correct but, we are not playing the history books, we are playing Huddersfield.
Not wishing any harm on Brough, who is a fantastic player but, we could do with him missing the game (a 2 or 3 match ban before we play them will do nicely)
It depends on our form/momentum as we get closer to the game.
A home draw would have given us more reason to be confident but, I'm looking forward to this one and they (Huddersfield) are certainly not unbeatable.
We've beaten them already this season and let's just hope we can do it again.
The next round will be a whole lot more difficult so, let's just enjoy the ride.
Come on Trin !

As I’ve said it’s a strange one with Hudds and hard to explain. It’s not that they beat us more than we beat them, they are a better funded club and certainly in recent times have been the better club with the stronger team.
It’s the manner in which they beat us and the manner in which we play them. We never seem to be up for them This especially seems the case when we are generally going well. It’s as if we have no respect for them and have no idea of their capabilities. The lack of urgency and desire against this club has always been sadly and strangely lacking in the past - with the very odd exception and usually when we are in poor form.
I can’t think of a club other than perhaps Leeds (for a spell) who had usually beaten us after 15 minutes in nearly every game.
I just can’t see it - but luckily what I think won’t matter and at last our boys will give this game all they have in which case Ill accept a win or a loss.
One bright spot is that Hudds have less of an ex Trinity presence these days which may help and if someones very smart they will realise how easily Broughy can be put off his games against his old club - though that’s a long shot.
As I say if we win it we have our name on the Trophy sort of because we will have to beat SL teams to win it and this is the SL team we've struggled with more than any other.

There were 2,500 Hudds fans against Leeds maybe a smidgen more there would have been 3,000 maybe 3,250 had it been a Sunday. Bearing in mind last year when Hudds and Leeds were in the top four the game only drew 7,700 at Headingley and we had a good turnout in that.
So depending on which day it is you have to bring around 1,800 to 2,500 to get a 5,000 gate.
If you bring. 998, that's less the two who have already said they don't come to Huddersfield there would be 3,500 or 4,000 which is more than Cas got on Saturday wth a reasonable turn up from Salford.
As its a quarter final with both clubs fancying their chances I think 5,000 would be a decent turnout, the only way to make big money in the cup is get to the final.
I would do what they did against Leeds about three years ago £10 a ticket and let's get a decent gate.
