Scrutons tackle just summed up the change in attitude that has taken place in recent games. They are willing to give it everything which is something that has been in short supply for a long time. Long may it continue.

Our defence hasn't looked this strong in years...several times on Monday, Leeds broke through our line and there was always someone tracking back to make the tackle (usually Johnstone), but Scrutes' effort today just typifies the new positive mind-set that has suddenly manifested itself among the players. That mind-set has got us where we want to be - in the top 8 - now let's make damn sure that we stay there

Dobson isn't slow so it was a great tackle I know Chester tried to sign scruton when he was our coach so obviously rates him

When Scruton chased Dobson down I thought Richard Moore had come back he was that quick to get to him the whole attitude of the team has been a massive up turn to what it was

No humble pie at all. Why do people think if you criticise a player for past performances it means you aren't happy when they play well. Last 2/3 games Scruton has upped it big time. And that's brilliant. Enough said.

I find it hard to believe you're a fully grown adult.

Scruton is being used to his best ability now.
He's not a crash,bang, wallop prop like England.
He's a steady what you get in minute 1, you will get in minute 80.
Think it's called consistency. Isn't that what everybody is looking for?

Perhaps if or when you actually grow up yourself you will find just how hard it is trying to be a grown up

Just watched the whole game again and Scruton found an extra yard to get to Dobson. Amazing effort.

All the above would make sense and you'd have a case were it not for the fact that you openly support a poster who goes way beyond fair criticism and who rarely talks like a "fully grown adult".

A man is measured by the company he keeps, I'd chose more wisely if I were you.

Exactly this. Do not rise to ppl who do not go to the games. We all know who watch him every week he's had 3 v good games last one excellent he deserved criticism after his abject performances at the start of the season
