Be honest he's dropped some right clangers - why would that be a surprise most normal humans would. Ted was in charge for 16 years and he was pretty poor for the first 10 years but he got their in the end or as close as he was ever going to. So for MC to have apparently "got" as much as my opening post credited him with in two seasons - I'd say I was fairly complimentary. I reckon with Smith help he'll be even better in 12 month time and Brian's successor may well be a great call. Vasty firstly what does prior RL experience have to do with running a business? Wakefield Wildcats are a business. He has no input into the RL side that is for the coaches. He has to supply the stability, pay the wages keep the players happy from a business point of view.

The on field performance only down to him when decisions need to be made to change it from a negative point of view.

Mr Carter has done very well for himself away from rugby and that is a transferable skill. How many successful chairmen come from a hands on rugby background? Give me a Mo Lindsay in his pomp over James Elston any day.

You need to remove the perspective of Carter being a rugby man, that had absolutely nothing to do with the success he has made of the business by keeping it up and soon to be debt free.

I don't require any credibility on here thanks. This is a public forum with a few posters on, a minority of people. Some I know and have sensible good rugby conversations with in real life, some I don't. Why would I require or crave credibility?

Remove the emotional connection and appreciate Mr Carter has been a superb Chairman thus far, don't suddenly claim he is getting it right after the event of putting his credibility and reputation on the line. He has been getting a lot more right over the course of the last 2 years than he has wrong. It's not just dawned on him since the Bradford game but it seems it may have with you.
