From a Rugby point of view it is total madness not to play Tim Smith, he is the only player we have with any creative spark. If for a change the rest of the playing staff decide to put in 100 % on Saturday all they have the ability to do is bash it up ( that`s if they manage to catch the ball ) and that will not be enough to break down the Bradford defense.
My opinion is for Gods sake play Tim Smith

Agree Tim should play but he won't because i believe both MC and BS think he should be punished as he has brought the club in to disrepute. However the moral stance although admirable could result in us losing our superleague status., We could not break through the Sheffield deence without him so fat chance of breaking down Bradford

Can't see why some of our fans think Tim Smith should play. He has been woeful all season and has had numerous chances to show his worth but didn't. What makes anyone think he will suddenly turn it on on Saturday. He would be better out of the club and preferably out of the country!

It just goes to show how crap our seasons been when we think about playing smith. hes been bloody awful all season.
however I think we live in hope that for the last game of the season he can unlock something special . It would be great if he could depart Trinity on a high and pay back the fans for a bloody sxxt season, but im not sure he can provide that.
With the departure of Locke it could be open for Smith to be selected and play.
The club must know his mental state and providing he can pull through and the club share that opinion he just might play

He's been poor overall, but the point remains he hasn't been woeful all season. He destroyed Bradford that day and we have no one else who we can replace him with for Saturday. I'm happy to get rid afterwards but it's a massive gamble to leave him out on moral grounds in my opinion

Stevie I cannot remember a single bit of creative play, that has resulted in a try, coming from any other player. Tim Smith is the only player in the squad with any guile, skill and creativity. To not select him is Rugby madness, but as long as we have made a moral standpoint I don`t suppose it matters that we are relegated.

To me it's not a morale issue. It's whether he is fit to play, both physically and mentally.
If he's all over the place because of the legal procedings then he is no good to us.

Personally, I'd just offer him a £2,000 bonus to win the game.

My God he unlocked the Bradford defence in one game don't mean he will do it again did Smith play in the win against Hull ?..... thought not.Yes Tim can be class but you cant bank on it and that's a problem.If he did play and sent a pass out and they scored because it wasn't a good pass and they got the ball would his head drop and he go into that head down mode. Any way are you not all forgetting that one man on that field who will want to go out with a bang all guns blazing could just turn the game for us with or with out Tim after all it is a team game.

How many breaks have we made in the last two games without him and that was against Halifax and Sheffield and for comparison how many did they make.

Agree 100% with all of that Stevie....To be honest when the chips are down and your fighting for your club and career, I can hardly think of anyone worse to be in the battle with you. Aside from him being a drunken plank he is also the most over rated player that I have ever seen.

I'm with you on this one.
It just highlights to me the absolute stupidity of not having an 'A' team instead of all the under 19 rubbish or whatever it is. In the 'A' team days there always seemed to be a player ready to step up. We now seem to have only one genuine scrum half in the entire squad hence we are now struggling!
