No idea of the exact contractual timings obviously but at the point of handing our notice in it was said that it was the last day for doing so to give the 6 months notice required. That was the 24 th June, so takes us up to 24th December. Maybe a game after xmas wouldn't be an option anyway?

If you look at all the historical events both good and bad involving Wakefield Trinity you will see Belle Vue. It's been our home for over 100 years and yes it is shabby but we have somewhat let it get worse by not spending any money on it in the last two years.
I cannot contemplate we will have the same affinity with Dewsbury but we appear to be cascading headlong into a deal. I hope they consider this carefully but experience says they won't and money will be the major factor.

He did - because the RFL at that time made it clear that our continued existence in SL depended on those improvements.

Say what you like about MC, but you can hardly hold up Glover as a paragon of virtue when it comes to running a RL club - can you?

I am not making a judgement on who did the work but the fact that some was done. The last before that was probably the hospitality suites even though these were retained under less than desirable circumstances.

I think those supporters that are now under cover would question the sprinkle comparison. Were you not the person involved in patching up the barriers for Mr Carter so I suppose you are part of the new glitter albeit it now appears that all of it was a waste of time because to a demolition contractor it is only metal.
I suppose Carter could sell off the stands which are fairly new or they could be our contribution to the new Dewsbury.
