| I have no idea why sammut does not get picked but it is certainly nothing to do with his performances.
Something behind the scenes has gone off ,that is for sure.
Seems to be a lot of that at the moment .

| In today's LE according to Carter, two players requested to leave will go this week. Paea has obviously been announced already. So Sammut or McShane for No.2?

The way McShane put him self about yesterday didn't look like a man wanting to leave and hope he stays,Sammut I can live with.

| Could be Godinet, I've heard for a while now that he's unhappy at his game time and not playing half back. He's linked with Warrington and HKR but needs to recover from a recurrent neck injury as well.

| Craig Hall is on record somewhere as saying he never wanted to leave HKR, it was Craig Sandercock that he didn't get on with and just days after signing with us Sandercock was sacked, both HKR and Hall tried to renague on the deal.

He should be given a shot at scrum half. There is nothing to lose at this stage is there ?. He certainly lifts the tempo when he comes on.
It will be a scandal if Tim smith forces godinet out of the club considering he would only sign a one year deal himself!

| How is Tim Smith 'forcing' anyone out of the club? Be very careful how you word things. That is absolute garbage.

| Merely pointing out that we should not be building a team around Tim smith because he is probably going at the end of the season.
Godinet may be convinced to stay on if he could get a regular spot in the halves.
How is that difficult to understand ?

| Surely Smith is only in the team because he is our highest paid player. His performances this year have been utterly woeful and there could only be one outcome for Webster when he has repeatedly picked him at 7. My biggest disappointment from Sunday is that the new coach didn't have the balls to dump Smith and play Godinet at 7 with either Sammut or Hall at 6. We have to change the dynamic of the side to have any chance of resurrecting our season and when we expect leadership skills from a headless chicken, we are asking for trouble.

| For me Sammut has always been a luxury type player, the type suited best to a free flowing confident team winning their fair share of games. The guy obviously has talent, a maverick type of player who could chip over on half way and sprint under the sticks......then ten minutes later throw a wild pass intercepted, or kick out on the full. I do agree though that he hasn't been given a fair chance, he should have played more, especially earlier on when the rot had first set in.

No he has not - not one decent game i two years and if he's the answer then I give up.
