| I'd keep Owen at full back and play Hall at 6.

| I really didn't like how Owen played last season but I think he had been one of our top performers this year.
Very well done again today Richard. For a moment I thought he should shut up and stop arguing with that numpty Silverwood, risking a penalty. Then I changed my mind. I thought good on you Richard, clearly you care and it is there for all to see. We are sick of getting the rough side of decisions throughout the season and he voiced that clearly.
Overall we still have defensive issues but that can come with time. I really enjoyed the spirit and desire they showed in the 2nd half. I thought maybe we pushed it a lot down the left wing with Lyne and Riley which didn't really bear fruit. I'm thinking Lyne is not quite fully match fit yet. I used to remember him racing away or breaking the odd tackle. Not done it since his return so I'm hoping he is back to that form for the middle 8s.
Let's hope we are on an upward spiral now towards some victories.

| Think he could make the F B spot his own. Just the rest of the positions to sort out now.

| Said yesterday morning that I hoped Owen would be FB, and was delighted with his MoM performance.
I think we safely say we now have that position covered.
Hall can go do one for me. I have rarely seen such a soft player at Wakefield. I'm sorry if that's not PC, and if he wants to come and prove me wrong, then I'll be happy to apologise, but not based on what I've seen to date!

| Halls a strange one for me. He tends to go missing and I don't think he's made a position his own at any club. With the bench now consisting of pack members just what's his position. I note he's listed as a utility player,.I have no idea of his best position and on the form he's shown I don't think he does. He's never been a player to stand out for me and out of all his games against us the try he scored for hull fc while playing in the centre I think is the only game that springs to mind.

In an interview yesterday, RO said that his preferred position was full-back.

| Agree with what has been said about Hall. I would also add that he has the demeanour of someone who doesn't want to be here, his body language is atrocious, as are his flimsy attempts to affect tackles and his ability to fluff what looks like a definite try scoring opportunity like the one at HKR where he only had to run straight and he was over.
Riley is a serious concern for me, he cost us at least 2 if not 3 tries by shooting in off his wing yesterday - can Max Jowitt play on the wing?

| It's been a long time since we've had a Fullback display as good as Owen's yesterday. I'd love to see that bundle in to touch where he got penalised for head high again.
Any chance he could cover Fullback and Left Wing simultaneously?

Played full 80 at left centre for England last weekend,I'm sure he can move an extra yard out

The Widnes winger to no part in any plays in that 1st quarter. He just stood right up against the touch line and waited for long, cut out passes that gave him walk in scores. On the other wing at least two attempts to do similar were spotted by Collis and Johnstone resulting in interceptions.

I would give him a game there then - I actually wanted him to have a shot at full back with Halls poor performances, but Owen was so good yesterday he should be FB for me.

At centre he was probably positioned nearer than Riley to the touch line already!

I'm glad you have reminded me of that 'bundle into touch'.
What is the job/jurisdiction of the 'in-goal' official, does his remit cover foul play in the in field area? The touch judge put his flag up for the player being in touch and then the referee went to the in goal official and then awarded a penalty against RO.
Also anyone have a better view of the kick off that was deemed to be straight in touch when the Widnes player caught it?
Our players were very unhappy with the decision.
Apparently MC was a little unhappy with the officials at the end of the game.
