Long may Salford play like that though. The more teams we are above at the end of the season, the happier I will be. I know its only the 2nd game but if they carry on playing like that their heads have surely got to drop.

They've got 3 or 4 good players, but then they have the likes of Johnson, Josh Griffin and Tommy Lee in the best 13. Don't rate Dobson too highly either.

A classic example of how great individuals don't make a great team; Chase plays in his own world, Hock is criminally insane, Kevin Locke looks 2 stone overweight and bored, BJB looks one tackle away from 2 months in the physio room, Dobson looks past it and Caton-Brown looked totally out of his depth. They showed no spirit, no pride and no unity whatsoever. Take nothing away from Saints, who despite a few missteps were mostly clinical, but Salford were dire; in a season where every second counts, long may it continue.

Hats off to Saints by the way - by far the most entertaining team in SL who, for the most part, play the game in the right way.

I cannot understand why pundits like Phil Clarke rate Salford so highly. Auckland were happy to release Locke with Tompkins to replace him. Castleford were looking to offload Chase and play much better with out him. Dobson is passed it and you can't tell me that a three quarter line of Johnson Caton-brown Griffin and bjb is one to be feared...and as for Tommy Lee at hooker he must be the worst in Super league. Combine that with Hock giving away penalties as if they were confetti and I am frankly mystified!

I feel sorry for the Salford fans, because they have the most pathetic and petulant owner ever to set foot in RL. Koukash must realise there is more to building a team than chucking money at it. He says he's had enough? I've had enough of him saying how to improve the sport, then chucking his toys out the pram when Salford lose.

Koukash needs to learn that you can't just build a team of chiefs, you need a few indians in there to do the bread and butter work of rugby league.

I hope Koukash doesn't get the hump and disappear, annoying as he can be, we do need someone to vocally challenge the RFL on occasion as not many seem keen to say what they are thinking.

His worst decision was to get rid of Noble and replace him with Harris who, was an excellent player but, has yet to show anything as a SL coach.
Mind you, there would be no surprise if the DR has maybe too much influence with player recruitment etc., which is always going to make the coach's job
impossible.

With the amount of cash that the guy has, he ought to make Tony Smith a Warrington a very generous offer.

Salford have bought some flair players but when your pack has no 'leader' and the best hooker they have is Lee, that's where the problem is.
It's been said time and time again, it wouldn't matter if they had Sterling and Kenny in the halves, when your pack is getting bullied and your 'enforcer' doesn't want to know, your back are going to look poor too.
For me Walne was the only forward that looked interested.
They have also just recently released Andrew Dixon, who has signed for Leigh, who is a good forward.

Liam Hood is the best hooker at Salford yet Harris plays Lee who offers nothing and Fages who as good as he is isn't a natural 9
