| I felt that the thing that caused us a problem with the dropped balls was Cas's rush defence.
They were often off side, but then so were we. The difference was they were very good at passing close to the line where we were just not quite there.
The pass and drop offs we were trying were very Warrington-esque and if we can make it work (meaning fast hands and no drop) it will be great for us, but in this game we couldn't do it.
What worked at the end of the game was a good go forward and very accurate passing from Smith.

| Quote: FIL "It was Collis not Owen that got a hand to it, but he was only about 2 metres out from our line and knocked it up in the air over the line for Carney to catch, so as others have said, the initial pass from Finn was a mile forward
It was 100% definitely Owen who got a touch on it but it was no more than a glancing fingertips touch which then hit Carneys arm, went forward but he caught it on the full to dab it down for the try.
As I said earlier,it was forward out of Finns hands so the touch from Owen is irrelevant

| Was it Collis? It was right in front of me and I'd say it was Owen. Maybe I need my eyes checking.

| Don't know if it was forward or not , but it was deffo Owen's fingertips' that touched the ball and put Carney off slightly.

| Quote: Big lads mate "Fat Carneys try was 3 yards forward ,I know Owen touched it,but, the initial pass was forward.I personally thought Hicks was poor
I thought he was poor too how many high shots did they get away bet it was close if not in double figures, in the first half when cas where taking the ball away from there own line he gave a pen to cas for high shot when Millington asked for it and not until. I was close to where it looked like ali was going to score and the ball was in my view ripped but knock on was given but gale try was a try the ball was grounded but to me there was obstruction as in him running in his own player
but we won and that's what we need to be more bothered and filling belle vue on sunday

| Was surprised at the time but tv shows that Miller was clearly pulled back when Washbrook kicked ahead. Actually he was properly tackled.
Then we got penalised I assume for off side.

| Ref seemed to let a lot go both ways. For me always preferable to 99 penalties each per half. Then again Daryl Powell did have a snide 'a few forward passes not noticed' comment in one of the interviews which seems a little childish and sore loser to me. First game back the lads were blowing some; discipline bound to slip both ways but as long as its fair both ways and safe for the players

Apologies people, I could have sworn it was Collis I saw touch the ball, but having seen it again on Sky last night, it was definitely Owen
