He was equally gutted after we won promotion, he did everything he could to get out of the deal with Salford and once at the Willows he played like he really didn't want to be there! |

Late 80s in old second division Oldham were favourites and it was at the watershedings we won I'm sure Billy Conway got MOM and said it's going behind bar for the lads to have a good drink. |

I've got all the games when we were on Scrumdown, I used to record us even if we were just on the news for 30 seconds, there's bits and bobs of stuff all over the place. Got Brian Jackson playing v Cas at home on a foggy day, think he scores under the posts in the second half. He and Ray Price did very well for us in the short time they were here.

As some people have already mentioned Jackson played centre for Parra but he played a lot at stand off for us.
My mate got talking to him in a pizza shop about coming back the next season, said he would like to but I think he was going back home to do a sports degree.
I was at Swinton when we played them in the Cup, he scored coming on the bump straight from a tap penalty to get us a 10 all draw.
Then I think we beat them 32-4 in the replay.
