Personally - I think he's sensational in attack and ok in defence.

I'd love him to be here at Wakey - class act - and would soon win the fans around.

It was a sad waste of talent. He did not appreciate the ability he probably had and would only retain during the short life of a professional rugby player. Crazy to let himself get into such an unfit overweight shape and turn into a joke amongst Trinity fans.

Many including myself would have loved to have had the ability and the chance to play professional rugby league.

McDonnell has looked an elusive runner when I seen him play although that hasn't been that often. He was liked at Saints and Hull KR and his video footage looks pretty good.

McDonnell is a specialist FB - we've just lost one; to replace him with McDonnell on a one year deal would be a good bit of business; the perfect transition for young Jowitt as starting FB for 2016.

Hull KR wouldn't pay £130,000 plus car and house accordingto an old twitter discussion which is why he was released. Hope we're not offering anything like that to a player who for the last 2 seasons who has not played much nommatter what proven class he's had in the past.

I have no idea if he is signing or not but he is a Wakefield type of player I.e. One with something to prove. He was displaced at Hull by injury found a temporary home elsewhere and showed some promise until his injury jinx struck again.
I will support any player willing to put on the red, white and blue or black & pink wherever they come from.

I guess that's down to opinion then. As I understand it, 'past it' is usually a term to describe something or someone that's too old to be of any use. In this case, if 'past it' is an attitude thing, attitudes can be changed....
