Was that the game when he swallowed his whistle ?
42 penalties in 80 mins !!
A child could ref a game better than him it's just put a dampener on the game, the guy lacks any authority over the players, worse than Klein.

| Worst ref in Superleague this Child. Plenty of stoppages throughout I bet.
Gunna be a Very close game I think. One in which you will pinch it by 2 points. Which will officially burst our bubble.

I know PT - I've been several times; I was there the other week to see Man City vs Sunderland in fact.
I've got no issues with that stadium in particular, I'm just not really grabbed by the concept; I don't go see live games for teams I don't support, I don't own a fancy dress outfit and I hate the general public, so the sofa suits me fine.

| after last years debacle I made a decision a few weeks ago that I would attend the Saturday and attempt to just enjoy neutral rugby and some beer. the lovely forecast suggests that this will be highly likely as their is the hull derby and the wigan leeds games to enjoy. it may yet be possible that I return on the sunday especially considering the upturn in our teams ability to compete. however, I do believe there are other sporting events taking place in Manchester that may result in awkward and silly road closures and diversions - does anybody have any further info on this matter that they are able to share with both myself and maybe others that are contemplating driving on the sunday morning (I am taking the train on Saturday)

It is "Fifita" not "Fafita"
If you don't know the difference between "there", "their" and "they're" I might get annoyed.
Sharing First World problems so you can get it right first time.

Excuse my ignorance Fergus but what other sporting events are happening on Sunday?

the other sporting events in Manchester are the Greater Manchester games held in the city centre on Saturday, this shouldn't have much effect on fans coming from Yorkshire, Sunday it's the Manchester 10K this has around 40,000 runners so Manchester will be busy and parking in the City centre will be be in short supply.

Hope this might help if you are driving
If you don't want to drive into Manchester you could use the Metrolink Park and ride at Ashton Moss or the one at Ashton West.
Parking is free and the return fare to the Etihad Campus or Velopark is £2.70 there are 200 spaces at the Moss and 192 at Ashton West.
If you want to travel into Manchester Metrolink do various day and weekend tickets ie: adult, family group ect
www.metrolink.co.uk/tickets/Page ... ector.aspx
You can reach both car parks by leaving the M62/M60 at Jcn 18 then via the M60 to Jcn 23 then follow the A635 towards Manchester then turn right onto the A6140 (lord Sheldon Way) the Ashton Moss is on the left and the carpark is just past the tram stop. Ashton West is further along the same Rd and shares the car park with a cinema and various food outlets like Nando's, KFC a pub and others.

you can also come of the M62 at Jcn 20 and travel via the M627 and A633 this cuts of a bit of the M62 good if traffic is heavy.

We have a parking spot we used over the last couple of years which hopefully won't be affected
