| We have won any games back to back this season, we are very inconsistent, so although you would think we should win, I wouldn't be shocked by a wakey victory.

I would and that's a first for me.

| We have kick started the red & white side of Hull, may as well do the same for the black & white side!

| Quote: PopTart "One problem is that if Collis is back (and properly fit) he is a certainty for the centre. Even before Walshaw?
I'm thinking Mathers was actually taking Collis's place and Walshaw was on other side.
So then the question is, to keep Walshaw and also play Collis, you have to drop Mathers or Siejka, and Lyne, Fox or Riley
It's a tough call on the wing. Each has his own problems. I like Lyne but he keeps making mistakes that seem like easy ones he shouldn't make. Fox is good when good but has not hit full stride this year and Riley is good enough without being flash. He takes the high ball, so I'm inclined to say he stays just to plug that normally glaring flaw for us.
Assuming Lyne can play on the other wing I'd go for this
Assuming everyone is fit,
I would be tempted to go
1) Riley
2) Fox
3) Collis
4) Walshaw
5) Lynne
6) Sammut
7) Godinet
Moore
9) McShane
10)Anderson
11)Kirmond
12)Ryan
13)Annakin
Subs
Raleigh
Molloy
Smith
Wildie

But Tricky, you yourself have criticised Agar for tinkering but you now suggest putting a 4th different fullback in the team who hasn't played there much before. Can't have it both ways.
If Wildie is back I agree he should be in.
I'd rest Kirmond. He just looks shot. If he can be put right in two weeks then great but if he's still playing with painkilers I'd rather he sort it out.
If Tautai I'd play him instead of Kirmond.
Annakin a must for me instead of Washbrook.

| I expect the players to be given several days off and on the days that they are asked to come into work perhapes stay at work for a couple of hours, I expect the players and coaching staff to talk of a top 8 finish and beleive that there is no chance of them been relegated. I expect the coaching staff not to be answerable to anyone at the club and none of the poor performances, mind blowing tactics and selection and poor squad management to be questioned by anyone at the club. I expect to hear that Wildie, Trout and Walshaw have had their loan deals extended and are not available to us. I expect to hear more about the squad needing time to gel, I do not expect to hear anyone from the club mention that our defence and structure has been pathetic and that the players have been called in for clear the air talks to get to the bottom re their pathetic performances. I expect that the squad to play Hull will include Washbrook and Seiker ( both should be loaned to Barrow ) . I then expect us to make players play in positions that they are not suited to and for a structure to be put in place that involves changing positions depending on if we are attacking or defending. I expect Richard Moore to start as sub and only come on when the game is lost and be brilliant. I expect our body language to be terrible and for our captain to play injured. I expect Hull to stuff us without getting out of first gear. I expect that our lack of pre season, lack of time to gel, injuries, the ref to be blamed. I then expect not to hear anything from the club as to what they are doing to pervent more poor performances and for them to announce that the coaching staff have had a pay increase and contract extension. I expect hear that Liam Kay and Danny Cowling were MOM in their games. I expect Catalans to win their game and for their players and staff to state that the turning point in their season was the action of their board foolwing their defeat to Wakefield which made them understand their resonsibilities to the club and fans.I expect London to continue improving and from Steve Ferres to get a positive response fro Bradford.

| It's interesting how people criticise Agar for tinkering, then advocate the very same thing themselves; Walshaw at prop? Riley at fb?
This is a very simple game - why do so many people insist on over-complicating it?

Riley has played full back before and is a good broken field runner. Him playing at full back allows sammut to play in the halves where he is most effective, keeps more pace in the backline and keeps Sykes who is now too slow and not a half and mathers who simply isn't good enough out of the team.

If you look at my proposed team nobody is playing a position they haven't played before. I have given my reasons in response to Bren2k why Riley at FB.
It's Agars fault that my suggestion is the 4th FB option cos he tried 2 others there after Mathers that I wouldn't have

I've only seen him run sideways across the line and fold to the first tackler who comes out to meet him.

That's not in a broken field situation though and to be fair to him quite a lot of the team run further sideways than they do forwards that's part of the problem. The team seem to be coached to get the ball wide as quickly as possible with very few doing the hard yards or taking the ball to the line and drawing a man before they pass which ends up with very little gain on each play.

| Think Belly is almost right if a little OTT. Don't think I have been this depressed about our chances of a win for a long time and quite frankly I can't see where a win is going to come from in the near future. Still, looking on the bright side, I suppose we are conceding less each week!

| Really think we should be looking back at what has worked so far in the games we've won/really competed. Siejka creates a rudderless team and is a squad player only at the moment.
Sykes has been aggressive in the tackle and gives some creativity but not enough for stand off so should be full back as Mathers is well off form. Walshaw and Collis are the form centres and Riley and Lynne form wingers.
Sammut and Godinet in the middle looked dangerous against St.Helens. We need to try to dominate the big opposition Hull pack so I'd play all 6 props in the 17.
So based on fitness and form the 17 for Hull should be (if Agar has a pair)
1.Sykes
2.Lynne
3.Collis
4.Walshaw
5.Riley
6.Sammut
7.Godinet
8.Anderson
9.McShane
10.Moore
11.Kirmond
12. Ryan
13.Tautai
Subs. Smith, Raleigh, Scruton, Wildie
