Other side for me. I know people have issues with Fox but it's a productive partnership.

| Quote: PopTart "Sutcliffe would be a big boost for Bradford. I think he is a fantastic player.
BJB would be excellent, even for a short loan. Problem is short term loans do upset the side a bit.
If he replaces Mathers, Fox or Lyne you have to accept you may be left with a disgruntled player when they leave.
Some may say that is good for those players but it will leave us worse than we are now.
Like him or not Mathers is a key part of team. Let him go by all means but don't owe him off and then keep him.
Saying all that clearly BJB is better than all of them and would be great for us.'"
He is but we have the creative players now, we also have some size in the pack what we really need is some strike power and he offers that. Should take the FB roll for me but I expect to see him play SR.

Please don't joke! It could happen,
I agree he will be most useful for us at fullback. I think it will test Agar out to keep Mathers happy which is important if he is our long term option but for me, best player gets the gig and that is BJB.
I think with Fox, Lyne and Sammut with speed to burn, BJB will give them a go forward they can latch on to.

| Isn't mathers vice captain? Cant see him being dislodged of he is? Would be a better option in my eyes though.

| For me I'd drop Lyne and put BJB in his place. I know BJB played right wing at Leeds but I'd like to see him in place with the Fox Collis partnership maintained.
Whilst a lot of people criticise Mathers I think Lyne is the weakest out of Lyne/Mathers/Fox. I was also dismayed at Lyne standing like a zombie watching the ball bounce on Sunday until Wigan picked it up and ran in tries. Lyne is okay going forward and very fast but defensively I think he needs to work more on his game.

| If they don't buck up their ideas they may all be OOC by the end of the season!

Good point well made. I can't see BJB being the long term plan either but no harm in making him feel welcome and encouraging him to stay longer. Amor liked it

| I remember Mathers playing in the centre for Cas against us one game at Belle Vue and i believe he scored and may have got the League Express MOM for what its worth!
Playing there he wouldnt be so isolated in defense but at the same time would we be just fitting a square peg in a round hole?

Exactly what I am thinking, plus BJB is younger however rumours about him to union and ofcourse is OOC.

| Watched the highlights from the Wigan game and looked out for Mathers as I thought he had a poor game on Sunday.....it certainly showed I wasn't dreaming about it.Put BJB at full back for me

| If we stay up, there could be lots of wage freed up for a better back line next season. Have a look at the squad list at the top of the page. Prop could be an issue if not resolved quickly before April. 4 first team props due for renewal, 5 if you include Tautai.

| If BJB gets signed before this weekend I'd play him at full back if Keinhorst fit to play centre alongside Sykes.

| I also think that wing and fullback are two rolls that two new people can come in to play without upsetting team dynamics.
Forwards need to understand the defence process in the middle with half backs more so. Half backs running tea, even worse when new.
Wing and full back have a well defined roll and can jump straight in imho
