| Wigan gave it their best shot but were well beaten by a better team by far.
However, I don't think any other SL team could have done any better and some top SL teams would have been battered.
A long flight home and we don't know how our lads will react. I do think it will be another game of sticking it through to the end. Under Shaun Wane Wigan teams don't cave in. They may end up losing a game but never quit early.
My Wigan squad for what it's worth -
Bowen,
Charnley, Goulding, Sarginson, Burgess,
Green, Smith,
Taylor, McIlorum, Flower
Farrell, Hughes,
Bateman,
Bench - Dudson, Crosby, Clubb, Tomkins.
Pettybourne will probably be banned.
O'Loughlin unfit.
Goulding seemed to be struggling and his thigh was strapped. If Goulding doesn't play I'd expect Gelling to replace him.
I still think Wakefield will have to be at their best to beat that Wigan squad. Trinity can't be worse than v Bradford and when they get it together can give anyone a good game on their day.
Wigan have a good pack with good halves who's kicking game has to be better than v the Roosters. Charnley and Burgess are very fast and top class try scorers

Ah there you are. Missed you.
Haven't seen anyone criticising others without making a point of their own for a while.

Don't think Fox, Ryan or Mathers will get dropped.

| I definitely think we should spell McShane.
Whether he can play for a full 80 minutes is irrelevant, it's whether he can be even better if he gets a breather for part of the game, plus Wilde wont develop unless he is given some game time.
Apart form that we need the strongest pack and bench that we have available.
Wigan can be beaten IF we learn to catch and employ a good kick-chase, if not, we will be on the wrong end of 40 points.
We need the young lady who was in the North Stand last Thursday to give the pre match and half time team talk, it's just a shame that the players couldn't hear what we could, some real passion

| We shudnt be expecting a 16 year old to play one of the most difficult positions in the team away at the current sl champions.
Jowitt looks like a real prospect, let's not ruin his career before its really started.

I wanted Wigan to win to showcase the UK game. It has to be said, however, that the Roosters would have beaten most NRL sides by a similar margin, and so there was no disgrace at all. They are NRL champions, after all. Wigan played with real spirit.

| It will be a tough game as it always is at Wigan. I am not expecting anything other than a defeat but I would like to see us compete and play like we did in the 2nd half at Salford.
At the end of the day we are Wakefield so you never know what is going to happen.

| Looks as though Wigan are to rest a few so can see if we put it together coming away with a win but we have to PUT IT TOGETHER to get anything from it.

| Wigan will be more dangerous after losing the WCC than they would have been had they have lost. They've lost their opening 2 games now, no way will they want to make it 3 in a row. I expect them to come out and kick start their season in a big way. I don't think jet lag, injuries or possible suspensions will have much bearing on the game.
I'll go for Wigan 44 - Wakefield 10

| I'm expecting a tough game after last season, especially at your place, when in truth we were lucky to win. Wakey also played well at the DW. Looking at your line-up Collis always troubles us.
We won't have O'Loughlin either, who is easily our best player.
Having said that we do have some very promising youngsters. It should be worth the trip in any case.
