Bet Ryan Hall isn't getting too much stick for the high ball he never attemted to take to give a try away.
Far worse effort than ones Fox gets slated for.
Also top full backs made errors over the weekend far worse than any Mathers made on Thurs.

My cheese and pickle sarnies worked a treat yesterday.

There are some people on here that Daddycool should definitely not consider inviting for afternoon tea.
However if I were to get an invite I would thank him for all the good work he and his team are doing under what I am sure are pretty challenging conditions. I would also make sure that I provided a large sponge cake and maybe some flapjack.

Matty Bowen being the most high-profile example; he's probably on 3 times Mather's salary and was playing in a game that was massive for Wigan and for the whole of SL - and he ambled around looking confused, overweight and distinctly disinterested.

The attendances will improve when the team starts winning games. It's as simple as that.

It`s worth noting hes been `Overweight` for the past 10 years, Still hasn`t stopped him being one of the best fullbacks in the NRL.

He did have a shocker on Saturday though

Can I just say I go to a ground because my team is playing there not because they have nice beer and pies and they are in plenty of supply. I go to watch Rugby not to get out of my tree on beer and bloated full of processed food, I couldn't give 2 hoots to what service I get or how comfy the seats are, wether its raining, cold if its got a roof, nice toilets, fast turnstiles etc,
Some of you were just born to moan and groan,
I just go to watch my team play Rugby League in an old fashioned stadium the old fashioned way and I like it that way

Same here.

No amount of venison pies or luxury double chocolate stout would increase the attendance. Neither would outdoor heaters and leather recliners in the East stand or quilted bog roll and hand lotion in the khazis.

Fans follow a winning team.

You might be on to something there!

As for the winning team - fans do indeed follow one, unless it's Huddersfield of course.

EVENTUALLY, WE'LL WIN SOMETHING, ,MAYBE, IF I'M STILL ALIVE THEN:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_31007.jpg

The reduced gate capacity may be having a negative effect. Home games against Bradford commonly attract 7 or 8 thousand. If you were considering it, would you venture out on a wet Thursday night with what sounds like a fair chance of being turned away? With it being on telly, the answer becomes a little easier.

The main point about Thursday is that whatever was going on with the food or beer, it had no effect at all on the attendance, as you had to be in attendance to experience it. And it wouldn't put me off going to watch the rugby game in future. Might mean I skip a pie next time, but if anyone refuses to go to a game because there were no mushy peas left has a rather skewed view of their match day priorities.

Maybe that's how we deal with the 5333 limit. Fans are asked ''are you here for the rugby or the pies?''. If they answer rugby, they get in. If they answer pies, they get turned away after being comedy custard pied in the face.
