I don't know if Smith managed much, he was late in the tackle - Mullaney wrapped his arm around the ball as soon as he got there though. I'm not saying it was held up or not, it's just hard to see from what little evidence we have IMO. |

They both look like tough calls to me, but the amount of defenders is irrelevant really, it only takes one arm, leg or whatever under a ball to stop it being grounded.

Lauitiiti as many rugby league fans know is a superb carrier of the ball and he has the strength and skills to switch ball carrying hands 1 on 1 I dont think any player could prevent him getting it down. |

As Richard Agar said, he has never known Ali not score when its 1 on 1, plus Ali told Agar after the game that he had grounded the ball. |

Such a shame Mike87 wasn't here this time last year... Anyway any player wouldn't be able to prevent big Ali from scoring 1 on 1. Luke Dorn found that out the hard way.
