| Moore & Kirmo went well, Ali was causing problems until he got binned and Sykes certainly improved from the Fev game.
We seemed to lose our way with Ali and Sykes off the pitch and we certainly took our foot off the gas 2nd half.

| Moore ran it in really hard and played well. Other positives for me were Dan Smith and Walshaw

| Also thought washbrook had a good game at stand off, and who was number 22 (was it maskill ?) He looked sharp at hooker and his distribution from dummy half was very good.

| Walshaw Dan Smith and Briscoe looked good, thought Moore looked out on his feet, didn't think he looked strong at all, Kirmond looked good when he got some space which wasn't very often and against a better team would be limited even more.
Most of the second half played a second team, Jack Anderson looked totally out of his depth, thought trouty was poor, Ali caused problems, not sure why he retaliated and ended up with a yellow card as I've not seen that in his game before.
Fitness was defo the key as in first half we tore them to bits in last 15mins and as we were playing a lot of kids in 2nd half they finished stronger than us.
When we have a decent pair of half backs we will go OK

Moore carried the ball up stronger than anyone else and looked like breaking the line on almost every carry plus he put us big shots on and was always looking to offload but did it at the right times.

| Moore was blowing out of his after making one big hit, took and age to get back in to the line all the time he was on the pitch, he even looked spent as he walked off after the warm up, looks genuinely unfit, I would not have him anywhere near the 1st 17 at the moment unless injuries necessitate.
As for the off loads, I can't agree with what you're saying at all, he has always looked to offload throughout his career at inappropriate times and nothing has changed IMO

| Well personally I thought Moore did well, did everything a prop should do. Ran hard and run onto the ball. Dan Smith, Paul Sykes and Lucas Walshaw did well. And Ali before the sin binning.

| Overall i think all the players did well and will stand them in good stead for the start of the season. Brian Noble was sat near us , obviously come to weigh up the oposition.

| Taking into account the oppossition i thought Moore, Smith and Trout showed up well in the forwards.
I though the replacement hooker looked sharp (Maskill? #22) and Briscoe also.
As ever we looked like we didn't know was going off at K.O and looked like another try could have been conceded as we failed to field a bog standard kick off. This needs some attention.
Washbrook did OK at 6, but i hope we won't see him there again this season.
Sykes did OK too and took his try well, just needs to sharpen up a bit.
I was pleased to see so many youngsters do so well in the second half too.
Reasons to be cheerful and reasons to be concerned. 6.5/10

You really should go to the matches you comment on then you wouldn't sound quite so daft

I'm sure you were but you seem to be in a minority of one regarding Moore - why do you think that is?

Because that's his opinion?, which is as valid as anybody else's

| Except when his opinion is quite obviously wrong. Richard Moore was our best prop by a mile. Of concern to me was the performace of Andy Raleigh who I hope is holding something back for the SL games.
