I'm not sure too many come to the UK because they are impressed and see it as a good opportunity. Most will come for the brass and the opportunity to travel in Europe, or because hey aren't getting any first grade game time at home. Not ideal I know but the way of the world these days I suspect.

I would go with much of what you say... people here are generally quite ignorant of the european scene , the geography of Europe and the UK etc...

most are attracted to London because thats England (isnt it?) and it has very easy access to heathrow and the rest of the european countries.

I would doubt that Harry or any of his travelling compatriots have done much homework on where they are going... its just and adventure for them.

some dont settle and go home, most do their time and go home... a few settle and stay.

I hear good tghings about Harry's skills... (no I havnt seen him, other than in fleeting televised reserve grade games)and not so good things about his attitude and discipline (outside the game)

Sadly I agree, there's a reason why Agar wanted him. Whilst Sykes & Godinet as the halves and Mcshane & Wildie rotating at hooker are good enough i'm afraid the back up options should one be unavailable are not. I had hoped Goulding would prove himself but i've yet to be impressed by him to be honest and lets not even contemplate going back to Washbrook or Smith there. We could really do with another SL quality pivot in the squad.

Agreed. Especially when (admittedly only on a limited amount of viewing), i would have said that Godinet is more of a hooker than a half back.

I'll be honest I wouldn't be that happy or that confident going in with just those options and then add to that if any get injured.

I know Godinet's coming but imo we lack creativity.

If we enter this season with just Sykes and Godinet the prospect of relegation seems a strong possibility.

Don't know what we offered 'harry secombe' but he won't be comming for nothing. Then there will be the costs of his fights, accommodation etc. I would reckon for a few more quid we could get Luke Gale from Bradford. He's a local lad, has agreed to play for us in the past and you know exactly what you will be getting.

If Siejka does sign for the Broncos, there should be some dynamics between Moore and himself!
Maybe London is a safer option for him as he probably would be automatic choice at halfback.
May have to work for his place or even get benched if at Wake
