Kay and Cowling could be the ones who appear to have been lost, potentially being replace by Briscoe and Keinhorst. Kay was offered terms but they weren’t acceptable to his agent and Cowling left as he was going to Uni? IMO both these players should’ve featured a hell of a lot more last year than they did, and as a whole the licensing period was a waste in respect of blooding youngsters without the fear of relegation. The most damning was playing Washbrook at six when we had a young lad showing enough promise to feature there in his natural position.

Thats fair, but coaches like players are not ready formed and perhaps Agar has learned a thing or two since last year - also perhaps he was under pressure from certain quarters, who knows. I do expect to see the most promising Academy lads, Walshaw, Anakin, Wildie and Trout feature heavily this season - I don't see Briscoe interfering with any of theme progress.

Cowling should of featured a lot more and so should Kaye last year. Fox form was not worthy of a place towards the back end of the year. I am a Fox fan but he was shocking at the end of the year. Agar has favourites if someone he disliked like MAriano had a average game then he would be out on his ear the following week. Its acceptable for Washbrook to plod on every week. Trout and Wildie got many chances last year and didn't show a thing! Why should they get priority over Kaye and Cowling. Cowling had bags of potential but we made a pointless signing in Reece Lynn who took over anychance Cowling had. This year we do need cover so its a good move for us and its a good move for Leeds giving him the experience. Not a big loan fan but if nobody incoming then its the best option

I have a life and don't claim to have seen every game of Academy RL ever played which you seem to have done. If you could be bothered to read my post I don't claim to know much about him at all, in fact like some others I was unsure as to what position he plays. What I said was that he is added cover and that he probably won't get in the way of homegrown players - but hey what do I know

If he isn't all that, someone else will play.

If he doesn't come up to the required level he'll go back to Leeds, similar to how Brad Singleton did when he flopped at Belle Vue.

I call him good because he's in Leeds squad and they gave him a 4 year deal - i'd say it was fair to assume he is pretty good for his age even unseen
