Is that wrong.'"
Can't see Ablett getting a game. However I would sooner see him play than that other joker who should be no where
near an international shirt ,the jinger winjer from Wigan.
I am sure the Kiwi s will be really worried about him when they see his pathetic attempt at being a tough guy against Jusin Poore.

A lightweight player who benefits from playing at a top club. He certainly wouldn't have been selected if he played for a club outside of the top four.
England need as bigger pack as possible against the Kiwis. I went to the Headingley match against PNG and even taking into account the opposition NZ were frightening. Power, pace and no little skill.

Correct......but I have a feeling England look far more balanced without that ******* in the side and with Burrows in there. I am backing them to win

| Quote: casman2 "I would have had Widdop in from the start. Not in place of Chase but in place of Sinfield.
Sinfield is not a half back, he should be loose like he has been playing all year for Leeds. No idea why McNamara can't see this, why have someone playing all year in one position and then swap him for the world cup!
Widdop and Chase half backs with Sinfield at loose I think is our best option.
Regards to Rangi, apparently both he and McIlorum have been sent home from the squad for disciplinary reasons, not sure how tru this is but you know what the rumour mill is like!
Also could be something to do with Rangi joining Twitter this week and tweeting what could be regarded as racist comments. He should have stuck to his guns of not being on social media if this is the reason!'"
Sinfield has not played Loose Forward all season and I think he has been one of our best so far in the World Cup. Using him at LF means we have too many chiefs and not enough Indians against a team who could potentially try and steamroller us. For all intents and purposes Sinfield is a halfback and playing 3 halfbacks in the NZ game would be a monumental mistake.

Sinfield is nothing like an international 7 he's too slow. He can tackle and is a good organiser get him to loose.

yet people think the England number 7 should be Matty Smith, who is indeed too slow himself. Our No7 from last year is also a slow coach for a half back but nobody would suggest he should play 13.
Using him at Loose Forward in the modern game is a waste of a forward. Most LFs in modern times have a running game, with the notable exception of Danny Washbrook.

| Richie Myler and Danny Brough are both better options than Sinfield/Chase. It's dumb-founding how macnamara has persisted so long with the Sinfield/Chase partnership when it has been clear for so long it just isn't providing the creativity, in my opinion.

| Think we'll have Widdop at 6. Sinfield at 7 to start with Burrows coming off the bench. Agree that Sinfield isn't a 7 or a 13 but has played ok so far and what's the alternative now?
Ironic Chase out of squad for whatever reason when he's about to face his home country of origin in the a World Cup Semi Final which would have been the biggest game he's ever played in...good flair player but not a Cronk or a Thurston or even a Thomas Leulai. Shame Brough never given a look in something that Macnamara may regret after tomorrow afternoon!
We'll need our strongest pack possible against the Kiwis with Graham, Roby ,Hill, Westwood, Sam Burgess and O'Loughlin to start. Bench got to be George Burgess, Lee Mossop, Brett Ferres and Rob Burrow.

| I thought Widdop and Sinfield played well on Saturday.
Widdop looked to put more effort in that one game that Chase had done in the previous 4(?).
MacNamara out and common sense to return to the England or preferably GB camp.

| Widdop's performance on Saturday should ensure Chase never turns out in an England shirt again.
