| Salford away was nailed on. You could have put Stevo's house on it.

| It used to be the case in the P&R days that the promoted side could choose their first fixture.
They clearly thought Wakefield was a good option.
For some reason I seem to remember that they couldn't decide the Home/Away bit but not sure....but they certainly got the first shout for a while in Super League.

| Winning at Wigan away with a patched up side full of kids and a couple of loan players (including Dave Halley) was one of THE most memorable openers !
Come on Trin !

| it's obviously been arranged to try get Salford off to a winning start.... SO obviously it'd be brilliant for you to beat them! Be a real slap in the face for Sinbad and Co anyway....
Though I think my opinion on this is entirely influenced by red league....

we had Warrington, Wigan, Leeds, Catalans...'"
Given the choice I would take that start every year. Better to play them on heavy wet pitches in February than in August.

| Drop the wildcats name and replace it with sacrificial lambs and replace daddy cool with someone in an inflatable bloated Nigel Wood costume.
Or just Nigel Wood if he ever reaches his level of incompetance.

| It would be great if the club were able to lay on coach travel again, like Widnes la couple of seasons back.
There was fantastic support for the team and we seemed to start and build an excellent away following.

Like with STs the travel was viewed by many to be great...when it was cheap.

It's always cheaper when you don't pay the bill, but that's not really sustainable is it!

Aside from the fact that it was cheap, it was still a good thing, to book travel to away matches through the club.
Although the previous regime weren't too clever at paying some of their suppliers, this doesn't mean that the club couldn't still be involved with travel to away games.
Tbf, I don't know the difference in cost between travelling last season with the club or, joining the original supporters club (from the Graziers), was there much difference ?

Indeed it was, but you know what the supporters are like here, "we" expect something for nothing and then complain.
