Forgot about Bateman but they have already signed better than Kearney with the kid from parramatta.

Yes, fair play to the guy. He put his money into a local community club and helped them survive, because even with the support of the RFL, no buyer would have meant bye bye.

| I look forward to seeing how Bradford deal with this situation. The similarities with us are quite striking
Saved by a new owner
Suggestion of once being late with the salaries (not us)
New owner investing more money to save club and apparently does not want it back.
Owner wants out and new board takes over.
I believe they have a press conference today it will be interesting to see what spin they put on it.

Nicked Gutterfax's post from the bulls forum, makes for interesting reading i thought:
"After forking out a 7 figure sum over 13 months, Bradfords knight in shining armour has cited ill health for his departure from the club. Without trivialising his illness, it needs to be asked if it is contagious, because Joshi and Sutcliffe have left as well
Into the breach steps the dynamic duo of Mark Moore and Ryan Whitcut.
Mr Whitcut is an interesting chap, who since first becoming a company director in 2005, has resigned once and seen another 7 companies he was involved in dissolved. Basically, judging by the history on the company check website, he is a failed Publican.
companycheck.co.uk/director/912712996
Mark Moore is an online bed salesman with a company who are described by the Inland Revenue as "Total Exemption Small" meaning they aren't making enough money to pay tax. The combined cash at bank value for all of Mark's current businesses is £27,728, with a combined assets value of £150,956 and liabilities of £120,498. Roles associated with Mark Moore within the recorded businesses include: Director, Company Secretarycompanycheck.co.uk/comp ... financials
If all it takes to own a SL club is to be able to pull pints, and have 30k in the bank, then I'd have bought the London Broncos long ago.......I wonder what level of due diligence will be carried out on these 2 by Red Hall?
The RFL will be faced with this reality when they look to ratify the change of ownership of the ICONIC Bradford Bulls....either they let an aspiring barman and a bed dealer worth 2/10ths of SFA take over, or see their ICONIC Bradford vanish."

There are also massive differences between us. We know our failings and don't look beyond ourselves to sort things out. We also know if we don't pull things around we are gone.
Bradford are totally the opposite, they think they are still a massive club and SL can't function credibly without them.
If things turn out bad they will still feel its their god given right to exist and expect everyone else and the RFL to keep them going.
