| Some of the people commenting on the facebook page are first class idiots. Asking for further reductions, refunds, genuine irratic complaining. What part of financial crisis do they not understand

The folk that post on that Facebook account have no idea of the "bigger picture". Idiots some of them!

| According to the club's official twitter feed, the spread plan payment for season tickets has been extended into September. Perhaps it might have been to the club's advantage to at least put this as a news item on their website. (Although it is mentioned in the Chairman's statement)
But then again, we don't need any more season ticket holders

I think in the circumstances I would cut the club some slack - there are not as many around to do these things as there were!

| Some people are putting some of the blame of this situation down to the cheap season tickets. But would we have met the required amount of ST holders outlined by the RFL in the last round of franchises without this? I doubt it.
In theory it was a good idea to get people through the gates (even though they may have been a little under priced). But part of the downfall for me is when these people are through the gates, there's not enough food/merch outlets for them to spend the extra cash in. Numerous times i've wanted a beer and their either sold out or can't be bothered walking to the other side of the ground

| I don't think its the cheap season tickets that have fetched the problems more of the over spending,
the amount of new ST holders did the trick increasing from a 1k to 4k with attendances well up and should be increasing with the regenerated atmosphere
the price increase since the £100 ST has risen to compensate to the current financial climate but we should be sell twice this many at this price, just what do rugby fans want when football can generate so much money

| Anyone who walks into the shop asking for their money back should be humanely destroyed and their remains left outside on the pavement as a warning to others.

| If anyone wants to get the money back so be it I suppose some of them will be thinking if the club goes down the pan so will the money and they will have lost out. Some of those will be ones who have only just begun to watch wakey and some will be thinking not this again. It pays to have a balanced look at things and if you can do that you just might convince them to keep on supporting the club rather than just making them more determined to get the money back.So I would say rather than telling them to do one or they need boiling in oil have a go at making them have a change of mind.

Its parly to blame, its also fair to say that match day attendances have been over egged a little, when we announce 8.500 we are all happy and praise the clubs good work and backslap the ego's.
But what if its only 7.500/7.800.

| There is no benefit in over egging match day attendances, There will be VAT due on all ticket sales so if you over egg the match day attendance by say 1000 (made up of 80% adult 20% junior) that potentially leaves you with a VAT short fall of over £3k, that 13 times a season is over £44k so not sensible business practise.
I think the attendance figures have been pretty accurate this season, unlike in previous seasons prior to Mr Glovers takeover (if you know what I mean )

yes Sunday is the ideal time to get people to give, large crowd against our nearest rivals both in terms of geography & league position. Wishing the old shop in the car park was still there so we could have a sale and if half the fans spent £20 each a tidy sum could be raised .
