| Think its unaviodable that more players will have to be sold. Next year is going to be tough.

| Sounds like he's making moves to take ownership of the whole company; AG will sell his shares, but won't call in the WYW debt?
Interesting times - again.

To clarify does this mean AG will not be calling in his loans/investments but is willing to sell his shares?

| I agree with the honesty bit, but is this not just decreasing the offers clubs would have put in for players?
X were going to offer 50k, but now know that we are desperate for every penny we can get and only offer 20??

Who knows?
I see this as a positive move!'"
If MC buys the shares that AG currently holds then money isn't being put into WT. It just means that MC will have less money to 'invest' in the club. The better route would be for MC, if he wished to benefit the club, is to buy additional shares, increasing his shareholding and therefore his 'say' in the club - but this would be dependant upon other shareholders 'allowing' this. Another problem of buying up the shares of AG, is the amount of money loaned by WY Windows. If AG was no longer a shareholder then this debt would then have to be protected, as AG has stated that this debt would not be called in, but what if he was no longer a shareholder?

| I hope he is clever enough to have some answers already before he says that we need £400k.
Otherwise, if it were me, I'd have been more vague.
Putting the number out simply gives us a number to talk about. It doesn't help, unless he actually asks someone who has that money for that set amount.

| Also, lets go easy on the raising Carter as the saviour bit.
He has a job to do but we all thought that about AG.
I'm ceratin AG had no intention of ending up here and he said right from the start that he didn't know anything about running a rugby club, but he was the saviour, just not the Messiah. He rescued us temporarily. We now need someone who can put something in place that lasts.

Sounds like this to me AG in his last statement sed he was not going to be involved in the day to day running of the club so he could focas on other areas i.e. Newmarket and education program.
I think he knows we want be able to repay him anytime soon.
You can always tweet and ask him yourself?

| 'Confident if they can get over this hurdle the future is good, but admits its a big hurdle and won't spend money they haven't got!'
Tanya Arnold quoting MC from the press conference
(and apparently, he is in the Daddycool suit )
Also: Adamant they will start SL in 2014 - no circumstances that they won't
And: Says Andrew Glover won't pull his money out of the club

| No problem with selling players. It's not nice, but it's nothing new. I worry that the early season ticket money (and whatever else we've got early) is revenue we'll need to replace next year at some point.
Cost cutting then. We can't really be paying £400 a match for dancers can we?

Get the young uns playing RL at HT.
It costs nothing and it helps inspire our future players.
Having said that, I don't know how this would affect our "community work".

Calling them in from what exactly ?
The club can't pay him a penny they don't have one. That also means his shares are totally worthless anyway.
Best thing he can do is write everything off and walk away I don't see what alternative he has.
