Don't think you will be on your own there. Having bought 4 adult season tickets including 1 upgraded to platinum feel like we have been slightly conned although shouldn't be surprised as it's always been the Wakefield way to sell the best players. Don't blame Smith as he will probably have gone for a better deal and has the security of playing for a club where money doesn't appear to be an issue.

We were told we were no longer a selling club.
Sell a prop if you like (we could manage and get someone to do a decent job)
But our most creative player, and in an area where we are already Desperately short !

Agree with the post, sell Aiton, Poore, Amor, Collis, Kirmo stick with the rest and get players who can do a job, stabalise as a club, as we'll be getting relegated them hope to win some pot tin cup in L1, and come up and down the leagues like we used to.

Extremely doom & gloom I know, and I'll probably change my mind but is probably one of 3 players whom I considered unsellable, if we retain any prospects or ambitions.

I have already bought my season ticket but if it's true they have my money but they will not have me.
I may have paid but I am not going to watch dross - and without our main playmaker that's what we will be.

Not to sure about the others from what am told, but we could have been slung out at the end of this season, but it sounds like we have another season now we have had help

I hope you have plenty of staff on in the morning if this is true as they will be queing out of the shop for season tickets (refunds). I hope you have all been and bought them early .

Presumably we are skint again and needed some money quickly, otherwise why would you sell your best player to a competitor in the lower reaches of the table.

It looks like we are back to where we were a few years back.
Elston hid behind Richardsons failing (probably with some justification).
He has been the main man this time around and AG has put his faith in him.
For us to be back where we were per spirit of 1873 so quickly only shows how badly both have performed.
For me (if this sale and its reasons are confirmed) Elston has to resign if he has any shred of dignity, he's had a go but he is nowhere near capable of the doing the job.
I would also urge the directors to get a grip of this situation and act quickly.
Sadly for them to get us out of this alleged hole is going to cost more of their money, but that's the cost of their failings.
Failure to act quickly and decisively will in my opinion lead to a downturn in recent support and potentially further losses.
Time for our directors to grasp the nettle!!!
