| Any price under 200 quid is under-selling the actual product IMO. SL is surely worth more than that ?

| £180 is incredible value - I think many have lost the value due to the unreasonably low ST's over the past couple of years.
At some point the price was going to return to some kind of parity - and that is now.
To alleviate the problem (for those who don't have that kind of cash lying around) the club have offered the spread payment deal - £20 per month for 9 months if you register before the end of August.
The ST committee pushed hard for this and we would be sorry to see it not used as we believe that this is the first move in the club becoming more of a membership basis on a 12 monthly renewable monthly payment contract.
£20 a month? It's less than a fiver a week - or a pack of 20 ciggies.
We're still in SL, still fighting hard and will need all the support we can get from everyone involved - and that very much includes us.
We may be down in the dumps, but I am more optimistic today than I have been for quite some time!

When was the last time you bought a pack of 20 cigs?
The 20 quid a month spread payments is a great offer, though. Good on the ST to get this one pushed through.

£180 is great value, I just know how tight some people can be. There will be less take up of memberships next year but this will be offset buy the increase in price.

| I wonder if the club have considered harnessing the payers social media presence for flogging memberships? If I were in charge, I'd compel all the players to Tweet a corporately approved message about memberships at least twice per day for the next month - lots of fans, I'm sure, follow the players but ignore the club officials.
It would even be possible to incentivise them such that the player who generated the most sales was offered some kind of prize - a lifetime supply of Costa coffee for example, or a Nandos voucher.
Seems like quite a powerful network that goes largely untapped.

| Another network going untapped is the current holders of season tickets. As I have previously commented, email details were put on previous season ticket membership forms and I used to receive information emails from the club. It would have been one of a range of appropriate methods of informing current season ticket holders of the offers for next seasons' tickets.

Good point - don't get the e-mails any more - and not had owt through the post. I used to do the renewal letters and forms and letters on behalf of the club. They weren't the best, but they were individually tailored and addressed. As I see it, the easier you make it to do, the more likely it will be done. Trick missed I feel.

The use of the database of fans' information is something that needs to be improved.
For the last 2 years, I have bought 3 season tickets on one form, and so given one e-mail address. Until recently, I always received 3 copies of the same frequent e-mails. Now, that seems to have dried up completely. The information contained in your customer database is extremely valuable, if managed correctly.
There were, reportedly, issues during the change-over of regime where information was not passed on, but, after 2 full years, this should now be sorted.
I wonder if data is also kept on how the season tickets are actually used. Either what proportion of the tickets are actually used for each game, or even as far as knowing which fans went to which games, if you really wanted. Information is power, and can lead to better informed decisions on season ticket packages and marketing. I suspect that we're not currently making best use of the information and contacts available.
Perhaps the lack of recent contact means they are currently working on the issue?

How many know about it - really?
The saddos on here do - so do the saddos on Twitter and FB, but when you look at the numbers involved it's a tiny fraction of the supporter base.
The only way to guarantee that the season ticket holders know is to send them a letter and a sign up form. I just cannot understand why this is not done from day 1 of the launch of season tickets each year - with a follow up later on for those yet to sign up.
This is a great deal - it may not be the best timing (coming on the end of a 5 match losing streak) - but its still a good deal.
