| Quote: Trojan Horse "No clutching at straws from me.
The game result is a different issue and we had the chance to win. We didn't so that's put to bed for me.
I'm just looking through the highlights and its clear that the sutcliffe pass was forward some and in still suspicious of a shoulder charge on lee smith near the end.
I'm looking at the officials performance here not justifying a loss with it. Chances were missed when the game was in wakeys hands last 7 minutes.'"
Agree about the Sutcliffe pass, not sure about a shoulder charge.
Ablett though...take your pick - in front of the kicker, pulled a Wakey player back, and that was grounded???. Really???

| Mr Thaler shouldn't be allowed to ref Wakefield games; he's at such pains to prove he's not biased towards us, that he goes too far the other way.

| Didn't think I had an issue with the grounding and I was bang infront of where he scored as always. He had a few inches to spare too when he grounded it but that wasn't the best angle.
Looking at the kick I froze the frame on boot to ball and ablett was about level with the kicker too so not much of a complaint from me that it was offside either...

A pull back on a Wakey player?
Sutcliffe pass?
It seems the officials work at one pace and can't recognise the "danger" areas in a game, where they need to be hyper aware of the play.
Maybe that's why the Aussie 2 refs system seems to work...which our game can't afford.

I saw smith catch and make a hash of the ball and get tackles (albeit a messy tackle by ablett) but smith most certainly had and fumbled the ball. If it was another player I genuinely didn't see that during the game. You may have well seen something I haven't which Is fair enough.
Sutcliffe pass > see my previous posts on this topic.

| Always going to get the 50/50 decisions going to the big city rivals. Very frustrating to lose when we played well enough to win and a decent share of the penalties. If we play like that against Bradford, should be a great game, with another big crowd and a better result this week.

| Not sour grapes just want a fair crack. Passes should be backwards not flat or in the case of leeds wigan and warrington forward. Notice sinfield lost his dummy again aswell

not one of you have come on here and admitted to at least the first try that was so clearly evident,
ever thought how it makes you look so clueless about the rules of the game

Just trying to be diplomatic, but it's obvious that due to your amber and blue blinkers you can't see anything else regarding a measured angle on the game.

| just seen the previous weeks highlights from the game at headingley, there was a blatant forward pass from Tim Smith to Kirmond in the play before the kick through for wakeys first try. Fans will always be the same, bias in their assessment of decisions for and against their side, though Leeds apparently are the only team to get away with forward passes.
Oh and the short ball for the Ali try is questionable too.

I'm not too keen on threads that degenerate into poor me threads, as MattyLeeds says, it does make us appear very Cas like, not recommended!
