No same match as you and I thought he was poor when I posted two of crooks try's should of been stopped by him but he scored a good try kick a good conversion from fox try and of course drop goal

I'd agree with that. Lots of errors by both sides for the first 60 but then it got exciting.

We did our best to beat ourselves. Total commitment with flashes of quality but some real poor options and dumb plays. We are a hard team to watch. That said rather that than following Hull. They must be one of the most under-achieving sides in superleague history.

P.s. Kirmond is fast becoming a modern day legend.

I would agree. Don't remember Lee Smith doing much wrong. I dunno. It seems churlish to moan when you've won an exciting match but God we were crazy at times and almost contrived to lose a game there for the taking. Tim Smith; do you kick him up the arris or pat him on the back? A more Jeckyl and Hyde player I have never watched. Fox catches a pearler to score but ask him to do it in defence and he needs clean shorts. Harem scarem, try to score every 6. Mathers another Jeckyl and Hyde. But God. Danny Kirmond. I was in utter admiration of his bravery tonight. Looked fd after chasing Crooks down in a losing effort, gets up and battles on. Dislocated 2 fingers, bit o tape, get up carry on. Man of match for me. Man of season by a distance. Watch and learn rest of team...CONSISTENT

Thought Sykes came close to MOM. Created a couple of tries, scored one, overall a top display from him tonight. If he backs up with more of the same, Tim Smith may not have to create everything and come in for some unfair flack. On a different note, Mariano played ok in first half, didn't see him in second. Was he injured?

Surprise surprise. Going went tough and Frankie went missing. That's the reason Tuson is coming.

He went off after about 25 mins and didn't come back on. The forwards put in some big shifts timewise, especially considering Wood was only on for the last 10.

We've just gone to Hull in a high pressure game which both teams were desperate to win.....that scenario in itself created a huge pressure environment......as Agar said after it was a damp pitch with long grass....it was a slow, scrappy game that probably didn't suit us......for periods in the 2nd half when we were able to speed the play the ball up I thought we looked much the better side and made easily the better yardage....

Tim Smith has been a bit off his game for a while....there's been a slight improvement game to game since Sykes came back from injury as it takes the pressure off him a bit......at the end of the day though he came up with two MASSIVE plays at crucial parts in the game.....as confidence continues to grow throughout the side with wins totting up, he will only start playing better....

At the end of the day though it was a fantastic team effort to come away with the two points....we ground it out with heroic performances....none more so than Danny Kirmond, who once again ran his blood to water.....an absolutely terrific captain's knock, once again.....and just goes to show what a truly abysmal decision it was that he was overlooked for England selection.....

Gentle talked Hull up pre game......it was the strongest squad he had to choose from since he's been there....it was their best build up to a game in training...etc...etc.....

We went there and did the job.....came away with a VITAL two points....

Downside is poore likely to be banned for a couple of games. They said before game he has given away more penalties than anyone in SL and he didn't disappoint today. It's a shame cos the rest of his game is decent

Lee Smith good in attack poor in try line defence with missed tackle on Crook. Forgiven for that winning drop goal though.
