einstien said insanity is when a person does the same thing over and over again but expects a different result: |
|
| They had 30 tackles on our line against 12 men and still couldnt score and were not known for our defence i think you will be ok

| Quote: Emley Cat "I can't ever remember us winning both games at Easter in the Super League era, but this must be the best chance ever with Hull having such a depleted squad and us back to full strength. On our day we know we can beat anyone and with an 80 minute solid performance this is a match we should win. It will also give us massive confidence for our next 2 'toughies' against Wigan and Warrington. Come on Trinity!!'"

Personally if we were missing mathers, collis, tim smith, sykes, kirmond and poore, id consider us depleted and if you were missing eden, welham, dobson, burns, paterson and mika, I rkn you'd consider yourselves depleted.'"
Erm we were missing Gleeson,Dobson,Burns 2nd half,Withers&OHara.
Fc trained all week knowing Holdsworth wouldn't be playing,Craig Hall found out on the bus to the game that he'd be playing hb!!
Richard Horne was the only half back on the pitch on friday 2nd half.
But for some reason Gentle chose to play him at FB, Whiting could have played at FB,he has covered there before.
Btw we'll be missing D Hodgson,Gleeson,Dobson,Burns,Paterson,Withers and OHara against Wigan.

we're not talking tactics, I dont care who plays where for FC....you argued that they weren't injury stricken, to which I posed an argument to the contrary.
Telling me how many men you're missing just confirms that you do think that you're depleted through injuries....yet you don't think FC are, and you seem to have a very similar number of players on the injury list. Perhaps its just a bit of bitterness towards your nearest and dearest.
we're under no illusions, if we put a cricket score on FC, its not because we're set for great things...its predominantly because we're a lot healthier than FC at the moment.

I didn't argue anything
I was pointing out that imo 4 players out injured against you on monday(Lynch probably playing as in squad) does not make them a depleted side.
If you look at their 19 you will see that they still have a very strong squad capable of beating teams who maybe think they are depleted!! Personally I don't think you will put a cricket score against them at all.
Hopefully for you Agar wont either.
Btw you were the one who brought my teams injuries into the conversation.
And finally why should I feel any bitterness towards them,we've just beaten them??
I hope you do too

Thanks Wakefield No 1, should have remembered that of course. I didn't go to the Cas game but remember the Easter Monday v Bradford, a real close cracker when leading by two they were camped on our line at the death and I remember my lad saying after the game " I'm not interested in football anymore dad, watching Wakefield is what I would much rather be doing " Made me proud did that.

Good lad. The power of RL grabbed him by the scruff of the neck. I like football but when any RL game is in the box at the same time as football, RL wins every time. WTID !!!!!!

Wigan - 16 looks like the bet of the season then.

| I think if we start strongly as we did against cas, hulls heads may well drop and we will win comfortably. Sure agar will have them fired up for this.

| We're nowhere near good enough to go into a game like this believing it will be a walk-over; we look good in attack, but we still leak soft tries and at times, play some incredibly dumb rugby.
I can't imagine RA or the players will be anything other than fired up for this one though - regardless of what he says in the media, I bet he loves sticking it to Pearson and co.

Yes there are a couple in cats bar probably "wildcats ale", or at least there was last time I was in there.
