Apart from when Paul Wood gets recalled at a moments notice.
York players are already getting annoyed, Hull players are coming in and playing to their own game plan, while some are getting dropped altogether.
This is replacing Championship clubs developing their own players.
Yeah, every ones a winner.'"
Agreed, its a rubbish idea and another own goal by the RFL IMO.

Sadly it's a great idea badly implemented which is the RFL way. You just knew this would happen

| If it'd been 5 DR players named at the start of the season, then fine... I think that'd work easier than having your entire team DR'ed at Dewsbury Bulls or Workington Vikings.

If the York players are whinging after one game, then they need to man up, as it were. Prove that they can roll with the big dogs instead of grumbling.
I can see the other disadvantages that it brings but would the fans really be that concerned about a couple of SL stars coming and passing on knowledge they have picked up in the pro game as well as playing at a high level for their club?
Even if it's just youngsters, look how Cowling went on at Donny last year - I doubt many of their fans would complain at the DR system.

Yeah but who cares, just as long as SL clubs benefit who's bothered.

Yeah, man up about some other lads coming in and playing their own game acting like the Big I Am...
You do realise that Championship is still the 'pro game' dont you? its not amateur down here in the doldrums.

Sorry, just badly worded - elite game then if you like.
As for the hull players coming in and acting johnny big , it's down to yorks coach to tell them to conform or they won't play. If hull complain, then he can cite why thy aren't playing and hull will deal with them.
If they are that disruptive and the champ clubs are somehow being burdened with these players, then surely they can tell the SL clubs to take them away.
Or are they actually benefitting? In terms of improving performance and bringing in the crowds that follow.

Its a very idyllic view of the situation you have.
Fact is, nobody goes to see Wigan reserves if Tomkins is coming back from an injury, why would the fans of a club he's dual registered at go see him make a recovery in their shirt? they are essentially reserve teams now.

Wire don't appear to be the only ones guilty of abusing practice - Kylie Leuluai and Richard Moore turning up for Hunslet this Sunday while registered with leeds.

Only Moore. Leuluai isn't due to Visa restrictions.
