Glad Agar has put a decent, strong team out although, like some have mentioned quite suprised at how strong it is, our squad not announced yet, hope it is as strong as possible

Hoping for a win but a competitive defeat will do for me - just hope we dont do what we did against Leeds last season and ship 60+

Like you said depends on team selection on the day, I would like to think both teams will want to play a hard game with out the injuries for both teams, should be a good game and one other thing get your selfs sorted and into Super league..

The squad looks promising and would entice people to come and watch.

With 2 further pre-season friendlies to come (one being against Saints in what should be a big game for them) then we have to be careful. We don't want injuries or people to over push themselves as they strive for fitness.

A competitive open game is all we should wish for. Naturally we'd like to win but let's not get down hearted if we don't. Didn't we get stuffed by Hunslet in a pre-season friendly a few years ago and lose at Batley last year? No big deal.

Injuries are part of friendlies, you simply can't wrap players in cotton wool then expect them to be ready for SL. It's simply a risk all teams have to take.

The Hunslet game was hardly a good comparison as that was basically our A team. The point is that this is basically a full SL squad, hence it would be very embarrassing if we lost although not the end of the world.

I recon they will give us a good test as they have some tidy players among them and will help them judge what level they are at with a few new players in.
Its like a life time since we used to have some cracking games against them.
