I think thats why we have signed that young lad Reece Lyne for to come in and apparently he has tons of pace! If we can also get the Mosa Mosoe that would definitly be destruction to other teams, just 15 minutes a half would leave defences scattered.

Sounds good to me, I hope Agar is on Mosa Mosoe case as we speak..

Sometimes players like this have the same impact on their own defence.
I'm not suggesting he hasn't got attributes, but if he's unfit and can only last 10-15 minutes, is it really worth it?
We've all seen numerous players like this over the years; few are worth the memory!

Ive heard his defence is good, seen a few videos of him and hes a unit. But hes 23 I think that he can improve his fitness and it may benefit him moving here because I think the game is slow paced compared to the NRL.

If he's unfit i find it hard to believe that he won't be found out in defence.
For forwards i don't think the game (over here) is slower than the NRL, what with all the laying on in the tackle that seems to go on over/down there.

I see your point but still would be a great attacking player and his defence isn't too bad. just 10-15 minutes each half would make an impact? Surely his fitness can be improved as I have said hes 23.. But I do think the game down under is played alot faster thus the laying on in tackle to slow down ruck speed.

| If we sign him i will back him, but at 23 he should be fit, if he isn't why not?
He may have all the skills in the world but if he is leaving big gaps in the defence he will have to be sensational just to even it up.
I'm just not into bigging someone up, before i've seen plenty of them.

I suppose that is where we put our trust in one of the best coaches in the game at present who must have scouts over there to assist him. There does appear to be some possible 'issues' with Masoe but if there weren't then he'd be in the Roosters squad still and well out of our league, price wise and he would also not be considering a move to Super League.
If we get him at the right price then he may well be a very good replacement for Paul Johnson (& Issac John on the quota) as Poore will hopefully be a good replacement for Southern. At least Poore and Masoe will be two genuine props rather than converted from second row like Southern & Johnson were and didn't feature (along with John) heavily during the season in the 17 and arguably didn't provide real value for money.

Agreed, I didn't rate Johnson as a prop he wasnt big enough would of been backrow for me if in the forwards. With the right coaching and conditioning I think he'll develop into a monster of a player.

I'm sure the coaches in the NRL are equally as good and they clearly haven't been able to get him fit.
I concur we would not be able to afford a perfect NRL wrecking ball prop, nor would he be interested coming to us, i just think its a big concern and one unlikely to sufficiently improve.
If he comes i'll back him, i just won't start jumping up and down now; i'll wait until he comes and impresses (if he comes).

| Poore and Mathers aren't even confirmed yet so lets not get too excited about Masoe

| Great signing if confirmed. He went through a few ropey years since Origin mainly due to injury recovery but has held his own this year in the NRL and looked to be getting back to something like the player he once was.
Big unit with an occasional nasty streak, hopefully he will come with the right attitude and if he does he will be a very good signing.
In relation to Mosoa I think every club in SL would welcome him, he is a good 2 spell 20 minute Prop in the NRL at the minute and while very raw has something special that makes him a game breaker.
I would love to see him in SL, but there are also 3 or 4 Sydney clubs chasing his signature.

| Yep great news, obviously wanted the longer contract and to try things out over here. A good hard nosed no nonsense Prop who seemed to be getting back to something like the player he was before this year.
